Every now and then it bumps, and i feel like reading a good-old familiar book. Mm, OC @15. Right, skip 2nd depot. Keep him away, guessing. And finally: BOOM! at his front door. Hehe, owned. I like ppl who aren't ashamed to pull some 'smart cheeze' ![]()

Zerg: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=211243 Terran: This thread But what does one do as protoss? Lol Protoss is the race made for cheese. You have so many to choose from. DTs? Proxy 2 gate? Maybe make some cannons? Or just 4 gate all in if you fell like it. 3 gate Proxy stargate all in is disgustingly strong against T and Z. Its also indistinguishable from DTs when scouting. (If not id love to know the diffs, would really help me out) Most people will just assume DTs from lack of sentries no expo etc. Your trolling is laughable. 4 Gate is terrible against any half-decent Dia Z or T, DTs are not cheese (unless Cloaked Banshees are Cheese?), and Cannons/Proxy 2 Gates will get you nowhere near a 50% winrate. If "cheese" is defined as strong all-ins, there should be 0% disagreement that Terran has the strongest (Tank/Banshee/Marine, Raven/Tank/Banshee/Marine, 6 Naked Rax, 2 Rax + SCVs, 3 Rax, etc. etc. etc.) Are you seriously saying that a DT rush is not cheese? And Who do you say is trolling? And yea, ive never seen a 4 gate win in pro leagues. Course not. Oh wait...... Oh btw have you heard of combatex? Cannons/2 gate proxy in master/GM and oh look hes really really good at it and rapes top players. Before you post think about what youve written. If its silly, dont click that post button Yea, but thats NA.

Does anyone know the current list of maps (if any) where you can wall off with 1 rax and a depot? There are a few GSL ones but im talking ladder. I dont see how you do this otherwise

Terran is so fun to play. Last time I faced latedi on the ladder (high master protoss, he posts a lot in the strat forum) while I was 3 raxing people. He obviously knew the strat so I walled off bottom to make it look like the 3 rax all-in and went 1 rax FE. I then proceeded to just make random terran units and buildings and won the game because I had such an econ lead (he went like 3 gate expand to be safe vs the all-in). Some maps look like you can't it but you really can, all ramps are standard size.

I've personally seen it a few times on the ladder and never once lost to it because it's so incredibly easy to scout and prepare for. It basically goes like this, "Oh the Terran is building his wall at the bottom of the ramp? Ok, time to prepare for a Marine/SCV all-in and then I win the game." and then the terran goes 1rax FE and you lose to a 2 base push.

The low-ground wallin is really vulnerable and losing that depot is terrible for him as is not using the first mule if you're not trying to end the game right away .

How exactly would you lose that low ground depot and why on earth wouldn't you use the first mule ... Even if you somehow forced him to retreat to the highground losing a depot to players who metagame scv all in like BeeNu is completely worth it. edit: ugh i don't know why I thought we were talking about tvz for whatever reason. ya you can definitely harass it pretty hard as toss and it's not hard for terran to throw up a bunker at the front. zerg on the other hand can't harass the wall very well and any metagaming they do will usually put them very far behind a 1rax FE.

This doesn't mean you won't get any wins but its not as good as it used to be.
