This build only works agains toss, and terrans that dont wall of.

These things don't work against toss. If toss scouts this he will just chronoboost stalkers, and he'll have zealot+2 stalkers +2 in making when you come at him. Then toss only needs to let you into his base and surround with probes and stalkers.

7rax is even worse because force fields destroy it.


BUT this build suddenly got better against terran because it destroys reaper builds

Your cheese might be silly, but I've lost to it, and sadly I read this thread long before I Iost to it, and knew it was coming. For me this is about as hard to stop as a 1-1-1, unless I blind counter it when I see the supply depot drop, which means I would lose if they end up 1 Rax FE.

It's probably still defendable with a Nexus first. I don't think you can save the Nexus, and you still have to scout it or you will just die, so P who probe to 15, nexus and then scout on the equivalent of a 2 player map are screwed, but they are going for what many would consider eco cheese so I guess it's fair to expect that to happen. Nexus first with an early tipoff should be able to survive, but with the delay on tech it'll probably need cannons, up the ramp, and probes ready to defend them. Maybe a complete walloff to delay the scvs getting up the ramp could work, with the way fast expands are common these days and tanks in tvp uncommon it's much less of a liability against terran pushes to have something ready for this situation. I imagine saving the expansion Nexus will be basically impossible, but if you can avoid dying or being overly crippled you'll still probably be ahead.

I've played around with this strategy but often can't wall-off the bottom of my ramp with the barrack and supply depot. Is this impossible on some maps or am I just silly.

tbh hero reacted bad, he didnt count worker, if hed have a good day he would have known that theres some cheese coming, (at least 2 rax). had a bad day. so when he gets denied scouting afterwards and he count worker he would have spotted the area where terrans lift their rax over from their mainbase (so they dont have to walk down the choke and save time). like this the protoss just died. thats what happens when u cant work with the information u gather
I only gg vs protoss when I'm winning

lol gm mmr player here and this build will not get you far at all. I'd say this would work in low master and below where players generally don't scout or prepare well based on what they scout.

Now that it's been on TL for many months, it's known by all good players.

In TvT this is a TERRIBLE idea and you will lose every game against a decent player.
In TvZ this is a TERRIBLE idea and you will lose even if it's not scouted with good drone and ling micro
In TvP this is a SOMEWHAT TERRIBLE idea and you will most likely lose since Toss will get at least 1 stalker and chrono 2 sentries after scouting your idea with the stalker

Imo, this build is only viable in TvP and not that strong even. 2-3 stalkers can kite pretty much all day and the rush should be held quite easily. The only reason Hero lost to it is the Nexus first. If he had just played a safe 1-gate FE, everything would've been fine - but lately protosses seem to be super greedy.
