lol gm mmr player here and this build will not get you far at all. I'd say this would work in low master and below where players generally don't scout or prepare well based on what they scout.

Now that it's been on TL for many months, it's known by all good players.

In TvT this is a TERRIBLE idea and you will lose every game against a decent player.
In TvZ this is a TERRIBLE idea and you will lose even if it's not scouted with good drone and ling micro
In TvP this is a SOMEWHAT TERRIBLE idea and you will most likely lose since Toss will get at least 1 stalker and chrono 2 sentries after scouting your idea with the stalker

Lol gm mmr player here and this builds is actually pretty good in TvP. Not this one with the supply drop but just a regular 4/5 rax all in. It's good because they every protoss on ladder is so used to terran 1 rax fe'ing that they never expect this when scouting no gasses.

Going to test this out in plat on ladder, my micro is pretty bad so this should at least help with that!

so THIS is where this build came from lol..
I beat a guy on ladder named Iincheezehead or something similiar to this, who did this build to me twice in a row now, I barely manged to win the first game and the second i knew it was coming and was able to prepare a little better ....

The point is, Because he had orbital and called down supply INSTEAD of getting an extra depot allowed him to reinforce the remainder of his army 1 last time and since i had so few probes left, it was really close

Be carefull not to get ffd in half going up a protoss ramp, thats what allowed me to win, however im not quite sure that there is any way around that if the player is patient and doesnt mess up his forcefield , perhaps try faking the first time and go for it the second time after you pull back for a split second

Just tried this out (im a zerg player) and i won my very first every terran game with it. Rank 8 diamond. I think Im ight use this to get into masters then just play zerg in masters for better practice.

This build is surprisingly weak now at higher levels with the 5 second rax nerf. Only 5 seconds, but man it screws up everything.

This Geiko style used to require very specific responses to stop, but now anyone that makes 2-3 stalkers or 2-3 sentries will insta-win. The three - four fewer marines you have when you engage now seems to make a big difference.

Any zerg that gets killed by this at any level is just a fucking scrub however.

I remember seeing this build on ladder about 8-9 months ago, realizing "something's up" and making fast Roaches and crushing it. Granted, I was Gold at the time, but I figured "wow that is just an awful strategy". Then literally an hour later I saw this thread, and was surprised that it is apparently quite effective.

I felt that way at first, but then I thought: Yay, free ladder points from tilting terrans!

lol, i love how everyones story is about success owning this build, yet when im on tilt I do tend to do these kind of 1base rax all-ins, and you know what, they are quite successful at every level against every race if you dont give it away. That said I tend to go with the duel 9 proxy rax against T or Z.

Hello !

A friend give me the link to this topic, so I wanted to try this all-in. I am only gold on EU server (and my opponents too).
Is this BO/all-in still viable ? even in higher leagues ?

I tried it (I didn't make the thing perfectly, I wasted some seconds a few times, and my micro during the push was crap.), and even if the opponent didn't scout my 3 racks, I almost lost.
With a wall then hellions, my opponent almost countered my push. actually, he should have win if he kept 1 SCV alive, or if he would have use the lift ability instead of let his OC dying...

Well, I know my execution was quite bad. but I was wondering : once you destroyed wall, what are the main targets ? hellions ? scv ? oc ? how to improve ? (even if I don't think I will use it often ^^)
thanks for answers.

Yeah still viable.

One of my topmaster friend did this against some grandmaster opponents to prevent the game to reach endgame. Yeah you can use it to climbing ladder but this build won't help you to learn game mechanics.

Do you guys just shift "A" click your units to the back of his base when you push? Or just "A" click everything you want to die?

I can't be having my SCV's take union breaks when I'm trying to cheese.

Good thing Blizzard somewhat fixes stuff like this then so you actually can't continuisly beat GM players when you are a platinum player yourself.
