So I'm thinking about using a heavily changed version of this old thing as my "standard" submission for TLMC. Doodads hidden atm.

Posting it here to see if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions. Especially regarding the new version of the 3rd that's against the main, but anything is fair game. Does protoss have a viable 3rd here? or are the 3 entrances to that base (even though 2 of them are very narrow, and the other is still narrow for a 3rd entrance) too much?

Yeah I was out of the game/mapmaking for a while. Saw that map when I checked out all the maps I missed. Definitely a lot of similarities to Bloodmist (of course bloodmist was made way before it), but it's different enough I think. I hope if I submit this map as one of my 3 the judges aren't all "lol this guy is ripping off heavy rain", though.

Well, heavy rain used to be one of my favourite maps on ladder and this has in my opinion improved upon it a lot - I don't really like the 3rd layout next to the main base cliff for starters and in general, this map offers much better army movement.

I think it's quite an improvement over Heavy Rain too. Sure the center is quite similar, but the 4th is different and the map is far less susceptible to blink. It's a solid map that I encourage you to submit. And to answer your question, yeah it's a fair 3rd for P. The triangle setup doesn't offer too much vulnerability to drops and against Z you can just wall the west entrance and stand in the little highground between the nat and the 3rd with your army to keep an eye on both. I would feel very comfortable playing on that map.

Thanks. I think blink is a big problem in heavy rain and the original version of this map. Definitely had to change it.
