Equal win rates doesnt necessitate proper balance. For example, lets say pvt was exactly 50%. However, terrans would mostly win in the first 20 mins while toss would win the later 20 mins. Is this good design? Nope. Is it "balanced"? Technically yes. Everything must be taken with a grain of salt.

a new void ray attacked one of my bunkers and all four marines inside died but the bunker was still standing
as soon as i built an ultralisk every unit i had gained the monarch plating buff

I will resume streaming as soon as I've settled down in a place that I can stream on a Saturday. Currently, I'm going all over the country because its the summer before my freshman year. By the time I get settled in, I should be streaming guaranteed. Beginning of September at the latest.

We are waiting for a couple of contacts to pan out. We're also working on an open letter for Blizz, and gaining signatures from these big figures. No name dropping, though... yet

Don't take the guys up top for granted, though: they have a hard job. David Kim has kept this game far more balanced than we could with the resources and minds he has working for him (albeit, some of the changes are a little awkward... I'm looking at you, +30 vs bio spore crawler). And Browder put his best into designing those races, and did a pretty nice job with what he had. Could he have looked forward and seen how things like motherships and infestor/brood lord played out, I'm sure those would have been vastly different units.
We're just doing our best to highlight the race's differences and help the game in any way we can. Ultimately, we're just tweaking an already reasonably built game

Hey all, sorry I haven't been around as much. I was contracted to do design work on a small indie game in Warsaw. Topsecret will be taking over. We will throw up a new thread with updated features and what not. I will continue to work as an advisory and journalist.

ItWhoSpeaks I was reading some of the other pages and I saw a really cool video about broodwar micro. Did you ever implement that? It looks very fluent and I think it's a good idea.

@bo1b, thanks for your kind words. Hopefully I can help this community. I (and the rest of the OG team) have given 6 months of my/our life/lives to provide the material for others to improve the game. I hope good comes of it.
