In-Game Description:
An abandoned facility floating on an asteroid.

Introduction/Inspiration:
The 'safe' third on this map is a six-mineral, one rich vespene expo. Because of its reduced (75%) capacity, players are provided with incentive to take one of the standard 8-mineral expansions earlier in the game. Although they may be more difficult to defend, they carry a modest economic reward.
Based on a layout by Alibobba. There may be some small elements of Cloud Kingdom or Daybreak in its design. The raised natural is inspired by Shakuras Plateau.

While I like the overall design, the half-base semi-islands seem more like burdens than benefits, as taking the base near your main has an extremely long ground distance to cover, while taking the one near your opponent's main is so close to the cliff that it could be in range of tanks, colossus, or even blink. My obviously valid low-post Platinum opinion would be to slide it up along the path towards the other bases and fill in some of the airspace in that direction.

It may be a little awkward, but you don't have to take it if you don't like it. If you entirely neglect that one, you've still got several other easy bases. It's something like a 'forty minutes in sudden death round' expo, or a 'speedling muta' expo.

Every race has some way to hold that expo, I think. For zerg, it's as simple as choosing a composition that is more mobile than your opponents. For terran, you've got PF and siege tanks, which may not make the base impervious, but it will make it costly for your opponent to attack. For protoss, it's within blink distance of the main (and also close by air), so it could be a 'hidden' third. Keep a blink stalker/void ray heavy army at the main, and you've got quick routes to both the natural expo and the little awkward island.

Just have to be a little creative

It was sort of an arbitrary choice. I know it doesn't quite match up with the lore (floating platform, terran structures, etc.)

I'm open to name change suggestions.

Edit:
I've renamed it to "Delta-v." If a mod is reading this, could I possibly get the thread title changed?
