and off-topic: no reason to be mean, ragoo. at least that map made it and is played by a wider audience. while i am not a fan of it in any aspect, one should respect it for what it is: it is played.

I am not mean. I am just blunt. Imo if a map is already quite boring it shouldn't have mediocre aesthetics on top of it. And I don't respect maps for being played. I dislike nearly every Blizzard map and most of the GSL maps as well.

This map has some original base layout, textures and doodads that don't make cheaper PCs crawl and apparently good balance. We need evolution, not revolution and there aren't all that many maps that fulfill those criteria. I prefer to watch macro games on unknown maps, especially since most koreans just allin on maps they aren't familiar with, so making them play macro on relatively unplayed map is even harder and should be celebrated.

What I find the most funny is it appears that only other mappers think the textures suck, while the majority of the feedback from players I get say it has a great look & feel when actually playing it. Yes, there are some graphical issues I am aware of but trying to get IGN to update the map is a complete nightmare, no matter how many times I email them. Why do you think it is so boring & so macro intensive? Have you watched any games played on it? There are still countless 1 or 2 base all-ins that are completely viable. The only non-original thing about this map is that it has just a double wide ramp for the natural & has a watchtower in the middle. Oh, and that it has 16 bases, but 16 bases is the perfect amount for a 4 player map (That or 18 imo)

@Monitor Since my map was also picked up by Playhem, I'm hoping sometime in the future I'll get a bunch of statistics just like they did with Cloud Kingdom, TDA, etc etc etc. @Gfire Thanks! Maybe if people keep bugging me enough I'll just get Ironman to turn it into a beach map....right? haha Then again, I don't think the name works with a beach theme.....lol
