Here is a map I've been working on for awhile. I like the concept of the map and it turned out nicely i think. Please leave some feedback. Would be much appreciated. =]

Ofcourse its not done. I just wanted an idea of what people thought of the layout. Thats the most important part of map. I don't want to go and texture and doodad it up and when I finish it someone says, this should go there and not there, or it just sucks. Its easier to fix those things now then later, because not fixing them now would mean wasted time.

I think it looks pretty good so far. It's hard to tell without being able to zoom in, but does your 3rd base cannect to the middle of the map or is it just a high-to-low ground cliff? Has a good amount of open space in the middle. The natural seems pretty open though. Reminds me of lost temple kinda (and the names are synonyms ). If there was a download and I had someone to play it with, I might give it a try.

Yes the third connects to the map there. Its a land bridge, but is blocked by rocks.

And the natural isn't tooo open. Its more like Steppes of War how the natural is.

Haha, when I put the golds in the middle, I was thinking metalopolis too. But looking at the main + natural, I was thinking steppes of war, and then the inbase expansion I was thinking delta quadrant. Many parts of this map's terrain came from Ideas from other maps, which makes this one just that much more exciting I think. =]

Looks like a solid macro map. Textures could make it more exciting, perhaps some more highlights. But overall it seems like a very good map in terms of playability.

the only thing it needs is a dark shrine in the dead center of the map...almost like it was forgotten...

Very wicked map. I'm gonna have to test this out with some buddies and I'll give you some feedback if anything is worth mentioning.

Main ramp looks kind of wide. Hard to tell though. How many creep tumors from main to nat?

No its the standard. And it only takes 2 if you have a hatch up at the nat, otherwise possible 3. Thats pretty normal. =] Go and play it!!

Thank you. =D It has rocks blocking the path to the main, and the other path.

So itd be somewhat tough early game, but allow for macro games later because its so easy to access.
