I really enjoyed watching the replay from minute 15. Nice spell usage like twisted said. But I dunno why nobady attacked earlier. I mean protoss doesen't need 20 cannons, before he can make reaver drop. and why not make some zealots? or some more shuttles with more reavers. I simply don't understand why he focuses on ONLY building the "mass destruction" units of protoss. Still very fun to watch though. thx titty twisted... | ||

Did anyone take notice the only thing the protoss had was photon cannons and templars as his defense? Yet the Zerg has way too many minerals to count and decides to build all the zerg units possible that are vulnerable to storm. Get defilers+ultralisks with his SIX thousand minerals, kill off all land expansions then the protoss is screwed. also take notice his carapace is at level 0 by the end of the game. also please explain what he needed devourers for. so he can go head to head with the 20* corsairs? or maybe to take down the 4 carriers which he didn't do? | ||

to game.no: No, if zergs make ultra, P can simply kills them with carriers, because not even defilers's swarm can cover the massive ultras :> beside the fact that protoss's corsair can simply kill all zerg's overlords, leaving him screwed. | ||

scourges are a pain, Zerg got full 3 armor upgrade making them very resistant to corsair bashing and it did work. But id ont know somehow this is another zerg win that looks like an archon more and you did nothing... very strange indeed So this is the new trend for protoss ? corsair into carrier + all F** support available ? HT/DA/DT maybe he should have used more Dwebs (PPPP) ? | ||

building ultralisks against someone with mass carriers/sairs is the dumbest thing you can do because you NEED all the gas you can get. I was originally going to post saying that "it's not fucking great spell usage when there are no queens" but he did throw an ensnare or maybe even two 45 minutes in although that was also way too late but he had such an advantage that it didnt really matter I guess.  apart from that zerg played pretty well. and if you disregard mass guardian, ultra would have been the dumbest thing he could have done. and why on earth did you tell him to "stop resorting to swearing" when he posted "good job making an ass out of yourself" ? if "ass" is a swearword then erm.. okay good luck in life. having money in the bank when you're fighting against sair carrier reaver templar is perfectly normal and perfectly acceptable. your flawed understanding of starcraft makes you unable to realize this, which is common on the semi-decent level of play where you know that you are supposed to spend all your money but where you do not understand brood war. so please refrain from posting replay criticism again, at least if it is related to the skill of the players. actually you should just stop downloading our replays if you don't like them and don't bother voicing your opinion. | ||

Whereas, you have to consider that the zerg had basically the whole map (in some cases heavily defended) and therefore a huge advantage. | ||

His opponent used his carriers wisely, keeping them above the cliff. 4 carriers, a lot of corsairs (pretty much unlimited d-web), and he usually accompanied those with a shuttle of templars. It would've taken more than that, even with a defiler. It's just very hard to do that, considering the micro needed (would've given me a headache for sure). When you get into position, he can just escape as well. Playing against p's air, their mobility is too great to use ground units. I think devourers were the best choice. | ||

Devourers/queens slow the corsairs fire, scourges don't die so fast anymore, scourges can kill the carriers without being snapped before they even reach the carrier ;o | ||
