Heh Im surprised Breakdown had trouble with dealing with some of gundams early strats in these games like the cliffing in this game or tank rush in the luna game. Then again he dealt with it fine on guillotine but that map is too good for zerg and tank rush is bad on it. GG's.

Guillotine good for zerg?It's AWFUL for zerg.I'm really surprised he managed to win there.
MadFrog : In my opinion, the biggest reason why WC3 is dying is because it is not such a great game as Brood War is.

Guillotine is awesome for zvt. Z can just open muta and not have to worry about any gayness then they can harrass hardcore. Taking your nat as t can be a bitch having to worry about harras in both main and nat aswell zerg can run in while they harrass you through the front. I think this is one of the reasons why gundam one based and tryed to hide his first expo. Lots of expos that are all pretty far for t to get to also. Lots of room for zerg to run their army around to counter hard when t moves out. And I figured I wouldn't have to breakdown why the map is good for zvt it should be pretty obvious.

you ever not have to worry about getting harassed in both min and natural? how did that make any sense. 'having to worry about harass in both main and natural'. it's called an expand because it's an expansion of your base, on any map you'll have to worry about harassment between main and natural.

your whole post applies to lost temple as well, not one detail in your post would make me think you're talking about Guillotine. you happen to be a terran player? with an aweful tvz?

p.s. he one based because zerg has to 3 hatch no matter what. if he makes drones he probably dies, if he makes units he won't have drones. unlike at lost temple he cannot go two hatch whatever tech he prefers.

On temple if you protect your nat there is no access to your main. On guillotine they can harrass your nat with muta then run in with lings through the front right into your main. And yes I play terran thats why I know. Aren't you a protoss player? If so thats why you probably haven't had the same experience tvz on that map as I.

Guillotine ZvT is pretty even.
The fact that we have flamethrowers means at some point someone said to himself - Gee I sure would like to set those people on fire over there but im just not close enough to get the job done, if only I had something that would throw the flame on them

Resse try building your static defense at the entrance to both your bases instead of building it to the second entrance that only covers your main

btw zerg having to 3 hatch is a big disadvantage for them, the map has good and bad stuff for zerg and is pretty much balanced tvz

at the 19:30 mark, breackdown should island expo with 2 lurks to defend and drop in Gundam's main, he's got it... his force at gundams chock(3 loaded lords, some hydra and ling/lurk is more than enuf to take down gundams building.

how is guillotine good for mutas if the zerg gets a late 2nd gas? and why do pro gamers go mass upgraded hydralurk mostly on that map?

It was really annoying when Breakdown had a bunch of units in the middle sitting idle, while Gundam was owning up his expos. I guess the whole point was to keep gundam from moving out from his base, or maybe he was too occupied with other stuff to notice.
Anyway, it was a really cool game, and when I saw the dropship headed for the last extractor, I was very very sad.
