The games overall were pretty shitty. Usually the players at least have some idea of what to do, but almost every non smurf game was absolutely worthless. The protoss with a half ass zealot rush into a late fast expand with a dragoon or two comes to mind. The other games were not much better. I don't know what you can do to prevent this kind of stuff other than change the format to not have complete scrubs playing, but something has to be done. More important than the games sucking though is what I feel is a lack of preperation by the hosts. The only interesting questions were about what he felt were his greatest accomplishments. So we found out it was WCG and a euro championship or something and his favorite experiences are the big international tournaments. Sweet. That shit is interesting. Too bad there is never any followup questions for any of this interesting shit. Maybe ask him about the people he met. Ask for a couple of stories. Anything? I feel that the hosts need to prepare about 50 more questions they plan to ask before the show starts or have a thread that people can post questions in that is checked throughout the show. Laughing at how bad people are is great, but its only funny for a while. After two hours I would hope for some more content than what is typically delivered in a TL attack. Even more so with the Sea TL attack episode. There should have been 200 questions ready to ask before it started. There are so many cool things that could have been asked, but Lil Susie constantly had to say "more more more" throughout the entire thing to get the hosts to even think about asking another question. | ||

But this place takes a team effort and if you see that after a search the forum is lacking such a thread, feel free to start one. I almost died when he did the zergling noise, rofl. So lets take this as a learning experience so we can all work together to have a gaggle of great questions for the next TL Attack. | ||

Generally spoken I prefer when the priority is lean towards the guest and getting to know him than be like this or that to fit into a certain format that the people can the most identify with or find the most entertaining. Maybe this also comes along with the fact that the community is a bit devided. There are the older ones who growth with games like Broodwar and like more to know the person and the thoughts and on the other side the younger one who stick more with this BM and funny stuff. After watching this episode I was wondering how much it was the "real Mondragon" and how much he pleased the host and peoples liking of beeing BM/Cocky. This is only a side note and I know the host just tries to fulfill what most people want. Like irc requests. Overall I enjoy TLA and the commentation. | ||
