Sure, squirtle had some pretty stellar GSTL performances early on but it took him a long time to win enough games to get to code S Honestly, Mvp won his championship astonishingly fast. He sort of took the scene by storm, suddenly reaching #1 on ladder by far and demolishing everyone in GSL January. Now imagine that same Mvp, with nearly 2 years of experience on the finals stage, in every game scenario imaginable (except PvZ, ZvZ, and PvP, though he does offrace a lot...) Not scared at all. Lol.

If Mvp is in his best condition, every pro can retire already. He makes not a single mistake in his best games, and when he does, it's only to capitalize on other advantages. It's amusing how people have so much confidence in Rain, who has not proved ANYthing yet beyond round of 8 in GSL and OSL. Mvp my hero forever.

Despite his stellar record, I find that MVP is often presented as an underdog in the later stages of tournaments.. This is why even with a record 5th GSL victory, completely leaving other title holders in the dust, he'll never be recognized as a bonjwa, not without huge resistance from the community anyway.
I'm reluctant to jump on this bandwagon, so I'll stick with what's been tried and true. MVP 3-2!

Rain is a saiyan, when he is close to death and survives that, he gets 2x power! Rain unstoppable.

GSL January was actually MVP's 3rd GSL. He was a novice in Open Season 2 and lost early in the Ro32 to Zenio. By Open Season 3 he was #1 on ladder and was the hipster darkhorse but he got cheesed out by Choya. Even if Rain doesn't win this season he's still ahead of MVP's pace.

I'm just gonna root for Taeja so the finals aren't a boring 4-0 for Rain.

Always underdog. Are you idiot? He has been consider underdog this year just because he has an injury. But despite the injury, he still keep wining. That shows how great he is. We don't give a damn shit about the "bonjwa" word. We just know he is the greatest SC2 player.

When Mvp falls, it shall be glorious day.
EDIT: Just kidding of course. Just that so many Mvp fans taking things so seriously and personally.

Read my post carefully. Judging from your sig I can understand why you would leap at my throat when you see underdog and MVP in the same sentence. I'm not calling MVP the underdog, I think he's the slight favorite. And despite being the greatest SC2 player, too often gets the shaft in predictions.

Strengths – Is Mvp.
I think it says it all.

Same thoughts here. Mvp fans, chill out. You guys are so defensive.

I'm gonna have to go with Rain. He just looks too damn solid, especially his PvT. But then again, Mvp always wins despite my never betting on him.
|
MVP's weakest match up is TvP, but whenever he goes up against favorite Protosses he manages to pull off upsets.
|
|
I hope mvp wins then gets his surgery and gets metal injected in him like Flash and become a second God.
|
Going with 3-1 Rain and 3-2 Life. I believe
|
Mvp! Mvp! Mvp! Mvp! Mvp! Mvp! Mvp!
The matches tonight are going to be electric.
