but yeah, great write up, I'm impressed by Liquid here, they have done really well in the TAC2 so far and I think they could beat FXO; it'll be close either way though. | ||

While it's more common to see in Proleague formats (see PvP on Outlier LOL), map choice is a HUGE part of the Team League dynamic. Sometimes it's safer to have an all-around player come in with a snipe map/build combo than it is to have a snipe player come in and use an all-around strategy for most maps. The point being, you send in a snipe player and they win, suddenly they might be at a HUGE disadvantage in the next game (see InCa). However, if you send in an all-around player to snipe with a certain map/build choice, not only does it give you the even ground, or even possibly advantage in the next set should they win, but it also allows you to expend maps in the pool you don't want your ace to be in. (ex. Calm Before the Storm). Not saying what NarutO said was wrong, I just think the map choice dynamic in Winner's League formats is a bit more important than he implied. | ||
