With the positive feedback received before, elky and giyom have decided not to make us wait for the finalized version and have gone ahead and stuck up a temporary english site.
****update**** They have moved their temporary english site to http://www.gamerluxury.com/ under "international sales"
A number of products available, including full gamer packages, all shown in $US (i just asked elky and euro should be up in a few days) Just requires you to email them with requests, they send back their paypal, neteller details, and thats that.
A lot asked about shipping and here is a post in their Q/A
Really depends on the weight and delivery method, but we can send the product to anywhere in world. You can go to www.koreapost.go.kr and find the English section (2nd in from the top right side) and see what your options are but all orders will be individually cacluated to get you the best rate. But as an example; a ground delivery for 2 Kg can cost about 4.60 US, but you'll have to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery or by regular air for about 17.00 US and you'll have to wait about 2 weeks. Of course a mouse probabley weighs about 400grams or so.
Deffinately not as professional, but it should appease the masses who need their stuff NOW! Much better then having to wait the 1-2 weeks for the polished version to be finalized.

The prices have been adjusted according to currency conversion, and international transaction costs. Yet just to be aware, just the delivery alone can make purchase from Korea expensive. Product Descriptions --------------------
KTEC MICE - KTM 6500, KTM 3500 Pro, KTM 3000
KTEC has been producing mice for the Korean Pro Gaming industry since the start. They were one of the first sponsors of ImYoHwan and KTEC is used by more that 40% of Korean Progamers. The president KTEC sought to develop a mouse based on the requirement of Starcraft and especially terran users. The KTM 3500 is the current standard, but the KTM 6500 (800dpi, 6500fps) was just recently released in Korea last month and the KTM 3500 Pro (800dpi, 4000 fps) will be released at the end of June.
What makes these mice different is the 'click and capture mechanism'. The technology is patented and it is a hardware solution, not a software one. The technology allows for you to instantenous click then capture units from the corners of the screen. This has been also integrated into the KTM 3500 platform making it the KTM Pro.
SAMSUNG SEM-DT-35 Keyboard
Simply, it is used by 90% of Korean progamers. The key sizes, layout and key depression are simply 'right'. It is a keyboard that is simple, but somehow the choice of Korean Pro gamers.
Airwalk Pro Gamer Bag This bag was specifically designed and produced for Korean Pro Gamers as a gift from Airwalk Korea. It has a limited production run, but due to interest by the gaming population in Korea, Airwalk made the bag available for sale. Go to www.gamerluxury and click on the picture for further detailed photos, but bag was proffesionally designed and developed for Pro Gamers. Distribution of these bags is even limited in Korea.
Star League Cap Airwalk Korea has a limited liceincing agreement with StarLeague and has produced these cap for last and this season.

Q&A
1. Can I get all the products on your gamerluxury.com website?
Yes you can, but, other than these ones, you could probably get them in your home market.
2, How can I buy these products?
Please write an email to either help@gamerluxury.com or gameluxury@yahoo.ca (ca not com) and specify: what you would like to purchase, your mailing address and contact #. We will reply with payment options and the cost for delivery to your region. Once payment is confrimed, the order will be shipped out to you and will arrive depending on the type of delivery you choose.
3. How much is delivery?
Really depends on the weight and delivery method, but we can send the product to anywhere in world. You can go to www.koreapost.go.kr and find the English section and see what your options are but all orders will be individually cacluated to get you the best rate. But as an example; a ground delivery for 2 Kg can cost about 4.60 US, but you'll have to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery or by regular air for about 17.00 US and you'll have to wait about 2 weeks. Of course a mouse probabley weighs about 400grams or so.
4. Are there any additonal taxes and duties that I have to pay?
Possibly, it really depends on your country and their policy, but we will state the value lower, if you'd like, so that you could pay less tax. But 50/50 some packages make it through without any addtional charges, others do. But generally, unless you are making huge purchase, the taxes should be quite managable.
5. Why did Giyom and Elky decided to open this site?
Cause they aren't good enough to live off poker and you gotta do something inbetwen playing SC and getting older.
6. What about refunds and exchanges?
We will test every product 3 times over for defects, but we will honor exchagnes where possible and if the case warrents it, then credit will be given for product defects. But defects or damages due to 3rd party handling or after 2 months is not the responsibility of Gamer Luxury
7. How do we pay?
After you send us the email, we will send you and neteller and paypal account and you can pay via those sites. This will save time and costs over other payment options.
If there are any questions, plz do not hesitate to email us at help@gamerluxury.com or gamerluxury@yahoo.ca

very old
i was first using one of those 18 months to 2 years ago. they were the first generation of ktec mice, i think they had maybe 4-5 different versions/releases of it? (i was using their latest version up until 2 months ago) the ones they are selling now are the 2nd generation.
in the last week i went from 3500 to 6500 its slightly heavier the the old version, but it feels nice.
edit: whoops! just checked the 3212 is the version i was using before i changed to the 2nd generation mice, so they aren't that old. released maybe 8 months ago?

Leg, or any other 1 who has KTEC Mouse, can u tell us a bit more about "how good" they are for playing starcraft, like what u like and what u dislike. Im thinking about buying one. Doesnt KTEC ship itself ? ( okok gamerluxury gogogo ! )
|
there light, like a mx 300 with the weight taken out and fit your hand good...the 3212 anyway.
the 6500 is about the same weight as the mx300 and a little bit bigger
|
If I buy a ktec mouse and im still not gosu can I get a refund?
But im am seriously considering buying one. The whole "built for terran users" thing did it for me. Its probebly bs, but hell, its damn nice looking.
Would it be possible to get my local comp store to order the mouse in for me the buy it off them? Seeing as I dont own a credit card and my dads a bitch about these kinda things.

Still don't understand what's the "instantaneous click and capture" or whatever means...

For an understanding of the "instanteous click and capture(ICC)" KTEC solution, visit the link above. The test data sheet is in Korean, but during development and production, the KTEC's ICC mechanism was tested against the Logitech MX engine for the purpose of determining the time gap between click and capture in rapid sucession. The application of this is that when units are at the corner of the screen, then if you start your click at the corner of the screen (when in motion) you may miss the unit that is actually at the corner of the screen and capture the others.
Of course, you can scroll the screen past the corner (generally speaking if your not at the actual corner of the map), but when you are playing at a competitive level with multi tasks, it is an additional action either to scroll or to re-capture by slowing down your mouse movement or to even to double capture to get all the units.
If you look at the bottom the test data sheet, you will see the two boxes with the mouse cursor in it, the boxes represent the actual screen and the first box is for the KTEC ICC and the second is for the Logitech 300MX. But the difference is 'relatively significant'at .08 ms to 3.88 ms.
The president of KTEC keeps in personal contact with ImYoHwan and so he has designed this mouse specifically for the SC player, but especially for Terrans. The President of KTEC cited the example with the necessity to get every single marine in a single click and capturing motion. This really is the KTEC's main point beside the fact that the weight, design and materials were developed and chosen for functionality first. You can say this is all marketing bs, but the test data sheet is there (I realize in Korean) and this mouse may not give any advantage for firstpersonshooter games, but this is just an explaination of the design concept of the KTEC mice and the function of the ICC of the KTM mice.
This mouse won't make you a better player if your APM is relatively low or you don't rapidly toggle between micro and macro at the same time. And this mouse won't make you a better player if you buy one cause only practice and/or talent will help you with that. But, if you do experience missing that one single marine, zergling or drone during a game and you think it will make difference, then this mouse might be the one for you. Maybe, may not. anycase, just wanted to provide an explaination.

kool wuts this where it says KTM 6500 pro not released until late june?
|
Korea (South)1897 Posts
There is no KTM 6500 Pro, it was the KTM 3500 Pro which was an upgrade from the KTM 3500 (upgraded with the new click capture chipset). It is now available, but just released.

Also Leg, can you tell me if I'll have any trouble installing the KTEC mouse on an English Win 2000? Or do they give u a software - install -CD with the mouse, or something... I can't imagine you could just plug in the mouse and it works great; there must be special options for calibrating the mouse movement, like the software Logitech sells along with the mice; you should use the default mouse configuration in the control panel...

i and everyone else just uses logitech or microsoft. (majority being logitech) i've had some trouble using USB on the 6500B on xp, so did elky, i dont know why but logitech options dont allow you to change the speed for some reason, but in ps2 mode it is fine.
on a side note i dont like the black samsung keyboard i use the older white one. I hit the left shift key pretty lightly (and on the right side of it normally) and sometimes when i'm shift clicking buildings it doesn't do it right. But all the koreans love it, i guess it is different hand position or pressure or something.

I DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARDDDDDDDDDDDDDD HELPPPPPPPPPPPP
|
POSTAL MONEY ORDERS AND BANK IN OPTIONS PLSSSS ME POOR NOOB DONT OWN ANY CARDS
|
could u tell us more differences between 3500, 3500 pro, and 6500? as far as size/weight and any other differences (comfort, looks)? i assume they all have omron switch
|
I havent ever used paypal before. But im going to because im ordering the Ktec 6500. However, my comp has spyware and I was wondering if it is possible for the credit card number to get exposed to someone else.
|
Ownage get: Ad-aware Spybot Webroot - Spy Sweeper Those combinations GG spyware/adware make sure close down all progs and let them run individually, run ada-aware 2 or more times.
BTW Leg another question: what endings do the 3500, 3500 pro and 6500 have? like the round mouse end plugs or USB? also what ending is the samsung black one? USB or the round keyboard ending?

Korea (South)1897 Posts
This post is in response to some of the questions posted. 1. The mouse does come with its own driver (in Korean) we've asked KTEC to make an English version and test it, so we will make it available for DL as soon as they finish it, but acutally, the Instantaenous Click/Capture mechanism in the KTM 3500 PRO and 6500 is a hardware solution, not software based, so the basic logitech driver will be fine (it was tested by Elky)
2. The mice come with both USB & PS2 interfaces.
3. The KTM 3500 is the current standard used by Korean Pro gamers, mainly because the KTM 6500 was only release this past month and the KTM 3500 Pro just last week. The KTM 3500, and KTM 3500 Pro are relatively lighter than most mice, while the KTM 6500 is actually adjustable in weight and is heavier to begin with.
4. The KTM 3500 does not have the new technology, but still is an excellent mouse and has been the standard model used by Korean pro gamers for the last year or so. The KTM 3500 Pro and KTM 6500 have the new technology & the KTM's fps is at 6500 while the 3500 is at 4000fps. All are at 800 dpi. All have Omron Switch and the design and material are designed for extremely long periods of continous play (+12 hours a day-Korean who love to practice), so these mice are not as flashy as other mice, but they are designed for function first.
5. We are using Paypal and neteller to keep things simple for international orders. We will include credit cards and money order options later when we figure out a good policy. Simply, credit cards have certain fees attached and money orders through the mail take up a lot of waiting time. But individual arrangements can be made through email.
6. We now offer the ImYohwan DVD set, we have confirmed our supplier yesterday and we will be posting up the price and delivery charge later. The price will aproximately 30.00 US plus delivery.
7. Package C was meant as a joke and in now way was meant to make other gamers feel insulted *^^* sorry!
