At the risk of creating false narratives, I'm getting this mental image of savior smug and defiantly brushing this all off :D Sitting there with his rolex and expensive clothes, "Don't you know who I am? Im the Goddam Bonjwa" That's probably how he pictures himself right now, and it's not going to end well. Everyone that counts in progaming has dropped him so courtroom posturing won't save him. I hope he's aware of that and has just decided to go out with a bang. Either that or he's telling the truth, though I doubt it.

Contesting 'arbitrary' technicalities is what keeps you out of prison... I am sure he can afford a very good lawyer and is following his advice very soundly.

Furthermore, Ma added that "I have never participated in match fixing or betting myself, and I don't know of any [gambling] sites." Yeah this seems like the explanation that makes the most sense, he was aware of the match fixing going on and probably introduced some progamers to people, but then went and realise that he could make a lot more money with a lot less hassle by just bribing himself.
