Also I apologize for my veritable eyesore of a post above.
Well Jayme has been inactive as well, and I linked that in a bit too.

Some thoughts: "Jimtudor had no hard feelings about the election. With love for his town in his heart, he prepared to defend the people chosen to lead in this time of crisis. His door bell rang. "Who could it be at this hour?," he thought. A salesman in a flashy tie greeted Jimtudor from his welcome mat and began his pitch. Jimtudor tried to close the door in the man's face, but the man swiftly jammed a metal bar in the doorway and used it to pry the door open, then bash Jimtudor in the head till he died.
Walking through the park in the darkness, Softer began to think he was being stalked, so he hid in the bushes. The figure that had been following him began to search the thicket, and Softer panicked and tried to bolt towards the park's exit. However, before Softer could get away, his stalker whipped him forcefully in the back. Softer flew to the ground, where vicious stomps to the back of the neck took his life. "
From this it seems like Pyrry's using attributes to each mafia, much like Chuiu. So, so far from this day we have: 1) Stalker shadow person: "in the darkness" "being stalked" "stalker whipped him forcefully in the back" "vicious stomps to the back of the neck" 2) Flashy tie man: "Who could it be at this hour?" "salesman in a flashy tie" "swiftly jammed a metal bar in the doorway"
From day one we have: 3) Stalker again?: "figure crept closer" "figure pushed him from behind" 4) Speedy fellow: "spacious archery range" "crossed the room from the other side" 5) Bomber?: "Without warning" "sounding a horn that would not be heard in time"
It can be argued that the stalker from day one and the stalker from day two are one and the same. Thus we basically have four confirmed figures: stalker, salesman, quick fellow, bomber
We are pinning Jayme to the stalker because of his cat picture and because of "He who supplants"? Personally I feel that some of the connections are weak, such as the "zerg=creep" and the scattered occurrences of the mentioning of like "crepuscular" with no reference to a figure. This is assuming that Pyrry's clues are related towards the attributes of the characters, however. On the other hand, Jayme's picture is not of a normal cat but of some sort of weird cat. I don't know exactly what it is, but to me it seems like some sort of night-vision cat thingy (maybe I'm totally off) but that would go with the night thing. Also, Jayme's signature is "Python is garbage, number 1 advocate of getting rid of it" whips are similar to snakes, but this is kind of weak. BUT, on wikipedia for "python": "Most members of this family are ambush predators, in that they typically remain motionless in a camouflaged position and then strike suddenly at passing prey." ambush predator... also, reference thicket is grass; "snake in the grass" is a common phrase. It could also be omG.[RaYnE], because Rayne->BloodRayne->vampire, which also relates to the neck
Regarding flashy salesman, maybe http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=Koopie because the picture of Peach is kind of flashy, or because the signature is "Red. Green. Blue.", flashy colors, but, maybe not. Maybe http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=EsbenPM because Esben->http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esben_Storm->producer of fantasy tales, but very weak.Maybe even iloveKTF because of his flashy mayor sign (highly doubt). Maybe it isn't flashy but salesman. Salesmen want to sell a product; motbob's signature is "Join Teamliquid Whatpulse Team!" sort of like selling a service but also weak.
Regarding fast guy, maybe Ra.Xor.2 for being "#1 Flash Fan"? I think this relates more to like a fast animal or some sort of magic teleportation, but it can't possibly be the same person as the stalker. Maybe this is EsbenPM and the relationship with fairy tales?
Practically no clues on the bomber except "sounding a horn" which I have no idea what it means.

lol I guess #1 Flash Fan (gj me missing that) could link to "flashy tie" though I think that's too obvious to be a real clue

Wait, he did what?
Changing your profile / sig / possible clue material after the game begins, whether you are mafia or not. You'll be caught and just look more suspicious anyway.
|
yeah he did. The list I made was created right before the game started. And he still had an empty profile then.
|
What was his original profile?
|
I noticed that, because I can't update my OSL Iron Man stuff for the duration of my mafia life.
|
add:
So no fek, I think he meant Koopie changed his prof after the game started?

Completely blank afair. Checking. Yep, totally empty.
|
edit: Does anyone know when he changed his profile? Pyrry could have looked at his profile right before making the day post, though maybe not
|
Yeah, that's what I assume he meant, which is against the rules.

Yeah he changed it after the game started. But ydg was trying to draw a clue from koopie's prof, which had been updated.

I know Koopie outside of TL (I told her to come sign up for the game).
Originally her profile was blank (as you can see in iLoveKTF's profile compilation).
I don't think it's out of an effort to cheat.
Anyone who wants to make me look suspicious, have a field day since I realize this post is probably a mistake but I'm making it anyway.

Though, I guess adding it couldn't be a bad thing, as it would be more clues to go on. If he actually didn't change any content (remove, rather), then I don't think it's a big deal. It would just give Pyrr more to go off of, however, it's still a rule infraction. ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)
And it looks suspicious. The only reason I could see someone adding to a profile after a game started, from a blank profile, would be a mafia trying to add some random crap, so he hopefully doesn't have an easy to guess clue based off his name.
|
It was updated recently. Game started on May 18th, Koopie posted this:
" Koopie United States. May 21 2009 15:20. Posts 8 PM Profile Quote Link You may want to update mine. =P"

This crossed my mind, but I don't think it is enough to go off of right yet. We'll see though. Definitely flagged themselves, for sure.

Yeah, when the actual clues pointing toward her are relatively weak, and the clues/behavior pointing towards others are stronger (Jayme), I don't think it would be smart to get our lynch fingers happy just yet. That and actually posting in the profile topic about an update would just draw even more attention to it, so I don't think she was trying to slip it in without anyone noticing (unless someone pointed it out before she posted, I didn't check). However, it's still a suspicious move, and we'll definitely have to consider it, especially if anything points to it in the future.

Guess I might as well not really hide this (yay another mistake post; have fun, mafia!)
I will be very, very surprised if Koopie flips red. Trust me for now, I will have a defense tomorrow. I've been talking to her on MSN a lot.
I have some other names I'm looking at harder than Koopie and I will post those sometime tomorrow as well. The timing right now is bad for me to discuss them since I'll be going to sleep right after this post. Rest assured you'll see stuff from me tomorrow.
Look through the thread, see who's been stupid or the like, write down those names. Look through the clues, see who you match up to them (and what clue analysis from others you buy). If you get the same names from both methods start thinking hard about those people.
