Seems like there are 2 Mafia families and a lot of chaos (drama stirred up by Mafia parties) and lots of town confusion. This is going to be more tense than last game

In my book, these people are either Mafia working their agenda to persuade town, or individuals that aren't really good with logical thinking. I'm not saying L for example, is 100% Mafia, but I've mentioned briefly that his arguments just don't really fit right, and this was before Ver was lynched. Let's see what happens next Day.

But I know his playing style, and I've already caught one of his tells; he's done in a few of the conversations we've had already. I'm not going to tell you all what it is because if I did.....well, would I still be special? (just a lil' sarcasm, folks). The only reason I didn't raise the red flag before is because I didn't want to alarm him and cause my death even faster. Secondly, I've been talking to Ace on and off for days. He is one person who can confirm I didn't even know the game started until more than 48hrs into it. He chose not to do that though. Instead, he chose to add to the suspicion of me, and didn't bother to tell you all that we've had other conversations, so it is definitely not unusually for me to be on another board and not this one. Hell, I only come here for mafia. Either way, I'm perfectly content with dying. Hopefully though, someone pays attention to my posts afterward. I left out the "Dell" part from Tricode's post, so no more dodging

His name can be stretched to Heaven On Earth, and to go along with burning lungs, if you were in heaven (allegedly in the clouds) the pressure would be immense on your lungs, no? The Earth part also indicates your on earth when it happens. Just a thought. Clue: I don't think BC would think that deep to make a clue

Can't say anything special here other than he's not contributing anything and can easily fit the pattern but who knows. I've been pretty much the same every game. I'm never the guy that slaps up big posts with clue analysis. I do speculate on my own, but mostly I read through the clues you guys have on hand and judge what makes sense and what doesn't. I also randomly chat with other players on MSN and accusing all of them Mafia The only time I become "very active" is when I actually have a job to do, (eg. last game, gathering roles and passing on information), or when I am accused and am on the verge of being lynched.

Sad but true. Also, there has been a minor (major?) incident. I guess BC will announce it after the game.

Even if the town is totally wiped out, the two families would still have to duke it out. If they want to "hold hands" and call it a game after wiping town out, it would just be unfair as the total of killing power they posses is more than a normal game, and is against the original intent. If that is the case, and BC somehow "allows" it, I'd say never again implement two or more mafia families into a game again.

The Mafia can work together, but they cannot AND should not be able to win together, as it would totally defeat the original rule set.

To the people thinking on too low a level, they might suspect that his list has some mafia members on it. However, he posted that knowing that most the town thought he was mafia. There are probably a couple mafia members on it, but definitely not the majority. Have you not notice yet that the medic list IS the hit list?

After next Day, the Mafia should start focusing on each other, as 90% of active Townies are already dead.

All my instincts have all been right this game whether it be luck or not. I'm not a game changer (write huge articles, clue analysis, lead town etc.) myself for many reasons, but at least I trust my own vision

Telling them makes them nervous and makes them want to kill each other. Unless they want to be screwed/killed off first. Absolutely. I've already brought up this argument on page 51 http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=91680¤tpage=51 I've also discussed this topic on MSN with BC. Bottom line, Mafia parties can work together, but not win together. Who the hell would join a FFA Starcraft match, when you know you opponents would just gang up on you then ally end?

We HAD to unite. If we hadn't, we would have lost badly. I know, I never mentioned it was an original rule. It just HAS to be done this way, or else, the game itself would be pointless. When BC told me, "One of the Mafia families would just forfeit.", "Town has no chance, etc.", I said it doesn't matter, even if town is totally wiped out. Even if it is just "symbolic" for the two families to kill each other, the game has to be carried out till the end, or else all would deem pointless. This is also why I said on page 51, the town should not be able to throw the game.

A role that can, and must kill someone every night. If he kills a Mafia, he gets to live on. If he kills a Townie, he dies as well. Awards people with good clue/behavioral analysis. Saves Mafia two kills if they are idiots. This role should be named Jebus.

Mentioning to the town that we did not have to kill each other would have been nice, but we obviously weren't going to reveal that. You guys were depending on it and it actually turned hitting Bockit into the best hit of the game for us. I can't speak for others, but I definitely was not After I got back from my business trip, it was already Day 2? I think... Lazy to check. A day or two later when you swayed the votes to avoid lynching, I checked the history of votes, and thought to myself that town would be done for, as a chunk of town was obviously inactive. At that point, when BC brought up the option to throw the game, it wasn't even about the Town winning or not anymore, it is for the game's sake that we actually did something "meaningful".
