Double lynches won't be enough either.
At least 2 by default, and an extra 2 by powers of the Mayor.
I'm regarding the case of 280 people and 55 mafias ofcourse.

Yeah.
When there are a lot of people in the game, I can almost assure you that at least 1/3 of the people are either inactive/lazy-to-read-clues-and-analyze-things-themselves/bandwagoners/dumb.

Hey guys: read the following clue:

"As randombum ran, he could hear the man from behind him yell, "I'll save you! I promise!" with a hideously evil laugh following. It was at this time that randombum realized his own fate."

To me, this sounds like Live2Win. Remember? He's promising to save us townies with his paramedic power, but never quite succeeds in doing it (because he's not a paramedic).

Remember how he said he'd save our detective, alventenie? He promised to protect him. And how did that go? Right. He was probably laughing behind his monitor as alventenie revealed his detective secrets under the supposition that Live2Win was protecting him, only to be murdered the following night as the mafia probably realized they were about to be figured out (especially with the 5/9 clue).

Any counters, L2W?

Okay, I really want to lynch L2W because I want to prove that I'm not the mafioso that's killing people with shots and shit (like it matters anymore since we're all going to get killed anyhow). And like Fen said, if L2W turns out mafia, I will be so freaking impressed my him.

God damnit, after realizing that we already lost I didn't bother to read the day clues. But yeah...that clue Empyrean posted is pretty much L2W 100%. I'll probably change my vote again, but I'll wait a little bit just to be absolutely sure I won't change back.

Let me ask something tho. If that clue will turn out to not be L2W, will you guys lynch Dapperdan then?

Oh and to Chuiu and Dan: are the clues being tailored to the people playing, or are there general rules as to how precise the clues can be?

Dapperdan's already dead, but if it does turn out to be a red herring (or even just a clue leading to someone else) then he'll definitely be first on my hit list next game if he plays

oh, then probably not. I mean the game's pretty much lost so it's not like it'll hurt us if we misinterpret that clue. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if he just gave us a freebie because he felt sorry for us.

Keep in mind chuiu favored this game on the mafia's side a bit, imo. Combine that with the fact the town is so horrible that it has made it even worse. I would have done 12 mafia with 60% killing power if it were up to me (so there'd be less than 55 mafia if it was balanced better, I think). Also, another note to your massive people game: the mayor would obviously be given more extra lynching powers in anticipation of a bit of a longer game, and there would be (in ratio with this game) 16 veterans, 16 paramedics, 12 Vigilantes, and 8 detectives to help the town. (not to mention 16 elders for voting).

If the paramedics do their jobs well the town hasn't lost YET, but unless the paramedics do their job perfectly and lynchings happen perfecting then we probably lost.
