Requesting a warning for Alakaslam for deliberately posting after he knew he had been mod-killed. Requesting a 2-game ban (or whatever the standard is) for Conversion for deliberately trying to get himself mod-killed. Posts below: On March 23 2018 23:20 Conversion wrote: believe what you want but I already sent out modkill requests and I hope I get modkilled and banned. now get the fuck off my case and go find some other shitty town to scumread and fail and mislynch On March 23 2018 23:28 Conversion wrote: To be fair, that's what I was going to do yet people want to shit on my behavior anyways. Too-da-loo ~ if I don't get my MK request fulfilled I guess I'll just start breaking rules EDIT: Race Bannon sat out this game as well.

Why? I don’t want to set a precedent that coming in an angry drunk and posting after death is ever excusable. And a simple warning says it’s excusable. I didn’t do game breaking shit but damn, did I toe that line.

You dont want to be pissed off about mafia while you talk to him over table chat) Then had offered to rejoin the game when I saw the difficulty the host was having finding a replacement for me. The modkill was probably because I missed a fucking vote at some 3PM bullshit deadline (my fault but NO GRACE FOR KALIPHORNYA HOMBOI amirite) after that drama but here is the kicker I then continued to post Because I was unaware I had been modkilled Because I Still Don’t Have A PM Hey Slam one thing. Don't join a "3PM bullshit deadline game" if 3PM deadline is bullshit.

Just asking for some grace in a monopoly there. Examples that can be considered: 72 hour days. 48 hours followed by votes only time, posts made during that time are edited to nil as soon as it is recognized (I know I know i’d Suck at that) and only votes are allowed- and only one. The vote post may not be edited. Another idea. Give a little more grace to people in odd time zones. I.E. I host a game, most people here are in Europe I don’t modkill as fast for failure to vote if they were active. Most of us are the same people. When I first started in here, I was still looking around community colleges and working bottom level at chemistry jobs as a twentyish year old. I’m nearly 30 now. I think even the kids of the old days probably have full time jobs now. I don’t know. I am a total narcissist online, I am obsequious in person. Who am I to blow against the wind? I’ve been a host (a shit host no less) I know I would really have appreciated a quiet day to count and make sure of things and get everything together each cycle. I doubt this would be harder to control as a host, rather I think it would ease things.

Back then last minute bullshit vote switching was less of an issue. I personally believe it's good that people can't be here at deadlines. But, honestly, there's such an easy workaround for this. Plop down a random vote on someone early in the day, if you have a reason great, if not, just say you're doing it so you don't forget to vote. This is such an easily solvable problem I don't think we need to introduce a new phase into the game to fix it. Just start every day by voting someone at random if you think you may forget...

Deadline is no excuse when there are 96 hours to park a vote on someone and that didn't happen. You even voted then unvoted D1. Even though you were active, if you fail to do the single most important thing in the game you will get modkilled and i think that is very fair. If not no-votes are so abusable by mafia.

I didn’t do game breaking shit but damn, did I toe that line. If you want to upgrade it to a ban then sure, I guess. I personally think it's stupid to have to modkill a player for not voting. It's such a trivial reason to remove a slot from a game just because they did not vote. But having large portions of the playerbase potentially not voting is not good either. It also takes five seconds to place a vote in the voting thread. That's one thing I do not understand about TL Mafia. It is common for players to withhold their vote for most of the day even if they have scum-reads. Is there something I'm missing about the wonders of not voting for anyone? Even the shit-hole I came from didn't need to tell players to vote in a game where you have to kill mafia by voting for them, lol.

I usually vote late as town only because i really want to only vote for mafia and not townies. Aka i don't vote anymore to gather reactions like i used to. As mafia i obviously do that because i do it as town. I've played over 150 games and i have once missed a vote and that was because i heard at work i had to do an extra shift and forgot my phone home. I don't think any deadline is an excuse.

So I actually could not fulfill that deadline AND YOU ARE STILL RIGHT, as I could simply park a vote.

Conversion has asked for a 10-game ban for himself for some reason, so I've put that in there, but if after 2 games he feels like he's ready to return, he can speak to me about it.
