IRON ATTACK! The Creature Sealed OffOriginal: The Sealed-Away Youkai ~ Lost Place / 東方地霊殿 ~ Subterranean Animism / Stage 1 boss theme
Fortunately, thanks to timely intervention from their friends, the fight between Wriggle and Cirno was successfully de-escalated, and a nuclear accident was somehow averted. Phew. Thank goodness for that. Reiuji Utsuho, please take better care of your belongings. * As for the oversized chikuwa, staff will enjoy the delicious food after the show.
With that potentially dangerous situation defused, most of the class had gotten involved in trying to solve the incident, with students questioning one another, and discussing among themselves. Some moved around the classroom more, whilst a few tended to stick more to their own cliques. Akyuu and Kosuzu, in particular, seemed to whisper among themselves a lot.
Others weren’t quite as interested. Lunasa, Merlin and Lyrica Prismriver continued to make a din in their own corner. Flandre Scarlet was going around the room, destroying random bits and bobs for her own amusement. Chen, having given up restoring order, had returned to her desk and was trying her best to shut out the noise and focus on some end-of-chapter exercises from the textbook she’d set out in front of her.
Sunny Milk and Star Sapphire definitely misunderstood the concept, and fluttered about the classroom, poking random people, much to their annoyance. Luna Child, who couldn’t be bothered to correct her friends, just plonked down by a window, brewed herself some coffee, and pulled out a story book.
Lily White went from one student to another, trying to get her message across to anyone who would listen.
Suffice to say, she wasn’t very successful.
And so, we fast forward to end of first period...

Luna Child was still quietly reading by herself when suddenly―
- “What the heck?!” she exclaimed, picking herself off the floor. “What brought this on?”
“We’ve been shouting at you for the past couple of minutes!” complained Cirno. “It’s not our fault that you just weren’t listening to us!”
“Oh,” Luna rubbed the bump on her head sheepishly. “I, uh, I guess I just got really engrossed in my book and ended up unconsciously using my ability to shut out all the sound...”
“Oh, is that so?” asked Rumia, with her head tilted to one side.
“Oh, no.” asserted Wriggle. “You obviously just don’t care about this incident, do you?”
“Huh, wha? I just wanted to read a book in quiet...”
“Hmph!” Cirno snorted. “You liar. We’ve all been trying to get to the bottom of this, and yet here you are, doing your own thing and not even listening to us!”
“Yeah!” agreed Sunny Milk. “You’re no fun at all today! Why didn’t you come play pranks and poke people with us? That’s really unusual! You’re usually a lot more fun than that!”
“Since you don’t care,” reasoned Wriggle, “you must be one of the bad guys behind this all!”
“Die, scum!” yelled Cirno, conjuring up a large icicle above Luna.
“Wha...?” Luna protested, “what’s that got to do with―”
*Picchu~n!*
