Yeah but you have to think of the layers of wifom we're dealing with here. Chaos is a scum team's best friend unless scum is in a position of influence in the thread. If scum creates the order, they can focus town on itself and keep the spotlight off themselves. A scum team organizing the thread can be just as dangerous as a scum team dismantling the thread.

I was actually going to disagree with this read Breshke because earlier he commented that he didn't have any reads in the first 20-odd minutes and now we're almost 2h into the game. He's doing something like that, you'd think maybe he'd have at least one read somewhere in there or some sort of observation on someone in the game.
Another reason to townread hts for me. Taking words right out of my brain
What has tubesack done other than pretend that he's a host? Making and updating a votecount is a really nice way to appear to be helpful while providing no input himself.
I would say what tube has done is more helpful that what any other player has done so far.
Helpful in that it organizes town's thoughts, I agree. I'm not scumreading tubesock, to make that clear. I'm just saying that the people giving him a pass for playing host are misguided.

That is kinda funny. Are you saying this because they add more volatility to the game and could cause a swing? If we shoot the ninja, they absorb the shot and the other ninja kills them removing them from the game.. Meeehhh I'd rather hit scum

How am i giving him a pass (i assume im one of these people) I said i read him as town, obviously reads can change if he continues to never give reads but it is highly likely he wont do so.
Without digging myself into this conversation any further: I'm just adding to hts' sentiment that tubesock shouldn't be townread solely for putting in work.

Perhaps? Lol, you're acting like people are calling him confirmed town and will never revisit his alignment. Unless you think the guy's scum for some reason, why belabor the point?
I'm over it, now. You are correct I gragged it out too far.

Does the progression from being ok with a random shooting to "I'm not voting to shoot someone....I will be shooting someone." bug anyone but me?

I am sorry I'm late, but the game starts at 4:30 am in my time-zone. I'm not inclined to be an early riser and in any case for professional reasons that isn't an option. My work requires me to be rested during the day.
So first off, before I post anything more substantive, I have a comment about the device.
I see a very rapid bandwagon towards pressing it, which I don't really understand very well. The device is unknown and we have no idea what it's impact on the game will be, or whom it will favour. Most of the 'reasoning' I've seen for pressing it can be summarized as 'YOLO' or 'don't be pansy' and similar emotive appeals rather than any concrete reason. One sensible voice pointed out we should guard it until we are behind or doing badly and then press, but he didn't seem to be too invested in the whole issue and didn't pursue it much. He's dead right though; the device randomizes the game, and because town is majority, that itself makes it town favoured. The way we extract an advantage from the device is to gain the ability to randomize the game when it's going badly, not by just saying 'YOLO' and pressing a button, and I'm mildly suspicious of those who started this "PRESS" bandwagon. I really can't overstate the importance of this, and I really want a discussion of this issue and/or responses to it. I'm not attempting to deflect discussion away from the shot, and I'll comment on that in a bit, but this is an important issue and that's why I've dedicated a separate post to it. There is literally no reason not to vote GUARD on the device and I want those who are currently voting PRESS to explain their logic if any.
Holy shitpants of saying nothing. This guys is another good kill.
Do you actually care to respond? I said a lot of valuable stuff and your attempt to dis it just portrays you as scum. Respond if you have any meaningful response?
Also, if you could bother to read, I said I am separately commenting on the shot.

The rest I just need to see more. I don't really scum anyone at the moment. The only one I'm somewhat questioning is Slam and only because in some game awhile ago Koshi said that town slam makes no sense, while scum slam is coherent and slam is pretty coherent this game. But I liked his evolution of my idea. (his seemingly reluctant acceptance of it anyway).
So your reasoning is that he sounds coherent and therefore he is scum because someone else said he's incoherent when he's town? If he's capable of being coherent, I can't see why he wouldn't be coherent when he's town. I'm also unsure why you aren't venturing any opinion or read of your own, but relying on some comment someone made on some other occasion?
This is what I meant to quote. Alakaslam doesn't fit a normal mold

yea...this post
You calling that post bad? If so you got more stuff on FF other than that post?
wtf?!?!?!?
Why wtf? Clearly I asking your thing on FF.
clearly i'm done fucking talking to you since you literally read one post of mine and drew some random fucking conclusion when in the VERY PREVIOUS POST I MADE ABOUT FF I CALLED HIM TOWN AND HAD HIM AS TOWN IN MY LIST AND GERIPT ASKED ME TO JUSTIFY WHY I THOUGHT HE WAS TOWN
page 47, robik using caps because of a misunderstood post.

Who else wants to shoot rasputin?
Oh right I forgot about you lol. You're not a bad shot either, but I like the other 3 better.
No one wants to shoot me; I'm too awesome ^^
Since I'm town, I'd say I'm a bad shot. I guess you don't care about what's smart anyway, so nevermind.
