Keep your stories straight. And stop defending against "I do not know if I should consider this a heuristic, if it even is a heuristic". This implies inherent guilt... If I am not even pushing you as scum and you ask me why I think you are scum, I am forced to consider whether or not you are acting under paranoia or guilt.

I find this weird because he followed up that first statement with more evidence to support it, along with the assertion that finding sqrt to be town is "what must be done". He doesn't think sqtr is confirmed town, but says he's confirmed town, gives evidence that he is confirmed town, then switches to saying he's not confirmed town for the only reason that would have made sqtr not confirmed town in the first place. Ultimately, the thought process doesn't make sense to me. Still need to figure out if I actually think it's scummy. Welcome to the club fuba. I hate host WIFOM.

Chromatically is saying Sqrt is likely town for asking about the coaches. Though it's not something that I particularly like doing either, I also think Sqrt wouldn't likely be asking about coaches if he were scum. It'd be a good move by Sqrt if he were actually really mafia and was planning on asking that to appear town, but I don't really think that's what happened here. In my interpretation, Sqrt then jokes about his being confirmed town because of his asking about coaches. Chromatically thinks it's a bit less townie of him to joke about being confirmed town, but I can't see a mafia making a joke about it like that. Sqrt's probably town for me right now. Chromatically is also probably town, maybe. Idk that he would go out of his way to claim Sqrt as probable town if he (Chromatically) were Mafia. I would think mafia would just care to give a neutral read on Sqrt if anything. Bunny, you don't want to clear Sqrt. That's understandable I guess. You think a mafia could have just as easily asked about coaches, but I feel a bit differently about it, and feel that it's more likely that a townie asked about coaches then a mafia. No read on you so far. Alakaslam seems to be pushing a bit on Chromatically and Sqrt for backtracking, but I believe he's making a big case over a joke. I also am unsure of how what Chromatically said implies inherent guilt. Maybe I misunderstood what Alakaslam was saying. @Alakaslam, can you explain your thought behind that again. Fuba - I put you kind of in the same boat as Alakaslam. I find it hard to understand what you're trying to push Chromatically on. Your phrasing, to me, is a bit poor in this line, "Are you saying that the phrase itself was an exaggeration, or you meant to exaggerate?" As, to me, they both mean the same thing. You say the difference is intent and I don't really follow much of what you said in the rest of your post, "According to him, he didn't mean what he was saying from the start. I find this weird because he followed up that first statement with more evidence to support it, along with the assertion that finding sqrt to be town is "what must be done". He doesn't think sqtr is confirmed town, but says he's confirmed town, gives evidence that he is confirmed town, then switches to saying he's not confirmed town for the only reason that would have made sqtr not confirmed town in the first place." Don't really have a read on anybody else as of yet. Sure. I explained who I liked and disliked in reply to a query, stating that I don't hold that to be a heuristic. Sloosh wants the game moving and so do I so I answered. I have no absolute scum read at this point, and that is not sufficient heuristic to launch a ghost-OMGUS FoS from. But for chromatically to take me so extremely, surprised me enough to wonder if maybe I actually should scumread him. I think this isn't the situation. As far as my scum play under this meta, I simply act far more classic TL townie. Ask Kush. Also I would hard bus, we were savagely accusing each other for the bus and rofling in the qt in extractor trick.

Got him lynched too lol. @Alakaslam, Ok, I think I see what you were trying to do then. You were trying to get a reaction from Chromatically by saying what he was doing was backtracking. But you say you don't really trust your read on Chromatically because his reaction still isn't enough to go on. Is that right? Also, you say that you think that Chromatically took you so extremely, such that you thought you should scumread him, but you didn't. How else should he have reacted? No, I was answering sloosh. Who asked for my "least favorite and most favorite ppl" Chrom and sqrt were the least. Chrom quickly took that as "I think he's scummy" and started to defend versus seeing what I said and simply saying "well at first I thought so but I realized that..." This answers both questions. Because since the answer to the first one is "no", the auxiliary question is irrelevant.
