Re: Balla - I took Balla’s suggestion for random voting to be a joke, but he sort of spends four posts addressing it. I don’t think it took as long as Dandel’s post, but when I read gumshoe’s post here (link) criticizing time spent without information gained it rang a little true for Balla as well.

Syllogism correctly points out it is easy to automate reversing your posts (link).

But, these comments miss the stronger reason I do not believe him: the burden on the hosts. Hosts who would have to read each and every post carefully to ensure it is properly reverse-formatted. So, I disbelieve Daniel/paperscraps and feel it’s scummy.

justanothertownie - Active without saying much. I always like to say one of the easiest ways (if you have the time) to play as a mafia member is to be very active and be the 'town discussion leader'. You get to ask a lot of questions, and make it seem like you are contirbuting without saying much yourself. To me, JAT's filter is a classic example of this. It consist of so many one line responses or questions to other players, although he has an 8 page filter, I can count the amount of times he wrote more than two lines with my fingers

But JAT just plays this way! I want you to compare this to his town play in Foundation Mafia. Yes he is active, but notice that he actually has posts with more than two lines. It also contains direct accusations of scums and his own opinions.

However Amiko is new and I would be hypocritical if I said that playing setup focus is mafia. I'm not going to disclose the name for a couple hours cause its more fun like that and we have to find two lynches today so we need to organize votes accordingly and find a good 2nd target.
