If we don't make a plan to deal with the button, mafia might just make a rush for it if they assume the consequences will fall on the town side.

Actually let me rephrase that. Scum also always have a reason for voting for somebody.
The difference is that townies think that either someone is scum or they want to policy lynch. Those are the only 2 reasons townies vote for someone.
Scum however, vote for dudes for a multitude of reasons. Currently robik has not shown why he thinks Iamp is scum or policy lynchable, which leads me to think that he is voting for iamp scummy reasons.
