I did a lot of research on Hopeless in that game I posted that quote from. Basically when Hopeless does "traditionally scummy" things like sheep wagons, flip flop, be indecisive, etc...it's because he's town. When he's assertive, makes up his mind and pushes a target hard, etc, he's scum.

How have I not been productive. I'm pretty sure I've given more reads this game than you ahve and I'm pretty sure that the majority of your reads are fabricated. As mafia, I love just picking a person and going through their filter and just picking things that seems scummy and posting about them. It's way easier than doing any sort of stream of conscious posting. "If you count the number of people voting for gumshoe there are only 16 listed. However Gumshoe was lynched with 17 votes," Foolishness explains. "Furthermore, there are only 29 players alive at this time but if you count the total number of votes you arrive at 30."
At first this might not seem like such a big deal since even without the extra vote gumshoe still had majority. However there is cause for concern as it is possible the extra vote was tacked on by the mafia to ensure a mislynch.
"This might have been a mafia pushing the lynch into majority," says Foolishness. "But it's also possible that one of the players in the game has a passive ability that makes his vote count for two. This is still noteworthy cause typically these double-vote roles are mafia-aligned."
We asked Foolishness who he think might be responsible for the discrepancy in votes.
"By looking at the voting history we can narrow down the suspects. Take a look at this vote count which was the last one before the deadline,"

Currently no one is set to be lynched. With 29 alive it takes 15 to reach majority.

"At this point in time the number of votes matches the number of players alive (29). If one of the players has a passive ability it must be one of the non-voters at this time. However of these 5 players only two of them, austinmcc and Keirathi, ended up voting for Gumshoe. One of these two players must be able to double vote. The other option is that someone has an activated ability where they can change their vote into a double vote. If this is true then they probably used it near the end of the day."
But this doesn't necessarily mean either of these players is mafia. Foolishness reported that he's sure austin is town and doesn't have a read on Keirathi at the moment. We ended the report by asking Foolishness why he thinks nobody else noticed this.
