What's the point of me writing up a case against my scum buddy Ace and then having him cop claim 5 minutes later. I'd know he was cop claiming ahead of time so I'd obviously want to set myself up to side with him like everyone else.
The point is exactly that it would give you massive cred.
On night one he wanted to lynch sent because he was convinced he scum slipped. After the cop check, he brought up that he wanted to lynch outside of Ace/himself and lynch prpl, before it was pointed out that we could reduce the mafia kp.

Well this is some shit. I'm actually a bit stumped. We still need to deal with Ace since we don't know if Oats was a Miller or not. Doing some reading for this, was really expecting a scum flip there.

As far as lynching him vs him being town goes, if you people want to fuck around with that tomorrow you're letting scum win.
I will not be advocating anyone but an Ace lynch tomorrow, although I REALLY don't want to have to waste my time on dealing with him because again, not hunting for the rest of the scum is exactly what they want.

So the poll is anonymous so I'm guessing the scummers could be honest with their intentions. They'd be fools not to since they can vote for the situation that favors them and nobody would know who voted for wat. Ergo, if he was scum they would label him town and if he was town they'd vote for the lynch.
Without shakalaka's vote (assuming he voted), we have 7-4 in favor of a lynch.
If Ace is town, the three scummers would vote to lynch him and buy an extra day. This would mean 4 towns voted for each scenario. Seems about probable, and scum could swing the wagon to their favored outcome.
If Ace is scum, the three scummers (including Ace) would vote against the lynch. This would mean 7 towns want Ace dead, and only one townie threw his lot in with the scum by some happenstance. This near-unanimous effort by town to lynch him would be less probable - but there is also the guy in IRC who asked Shakalaka to come in and vote for the town option. It would make sense that scum, seeing that despite all their efforts their man is going to get lynched, ask another guy to put some more weight on the town option.

kita ace's play is consistent and makes sense as town. In order for him to be scum you have to assume that he has taken silly risks (copcheck on Oats) that he didn't need to take. I would rather pick the scenario that makes more sense and that is with Ace being town.
If Ace is town the best thing to do is check him to stop a mislynch. If Ace is scum then checking him should confirm that. There is a risk associated with checking him but that cannot be helped. But i would rather we take it than mislynch and have only day1 where people had to justify their votes beyond it being the perceived optimal play because of a check.
