I have a pretty good town read on phagga myself. When he's around the thread, he's been actively promoting discussion, and making reads himself. And a lot of the things he has said mirror my own thoughts. He's one of the players I'm not familiar with, and nearly every time he's posted, I've thought to myself "That makes sense."

Syllo and Sand were one in the same. Both appeared to me to be taking each other with them into their teams. When they were the only two candidates this screamed that at least one was scum. I don't get how you don't read it that way. it seems obvious and you are better than I am at this game. Explain to me why I am wrong in the read that one of them must be mafia based on the way the thread went early d1. Honestly I didn't differentiate much between Sand and Syllo which is why Syllo didn't seem like a real candidate early ( he was behind Sand in votes and they were, for all intents and purposes, the same candidate).

Maybe I wasn't clear. I do think that Phagga is town, I just didn't see any reasoning from Clarity and I hate no reasoning. I wanted to get it from him and not from marv but that didn't happen. Nothing I can do about it.

If you think you're being "obviously town" this game, then you're being ridiculous. Maybe you are town, I'm not really sure yet because your play isn't how I would expect you to play as scum. But you've been nearly entirely useless this game, which is pretty strange for you.

Seems to me that the majority got their preferred candidate elected, or they wouldn't have voted for him. Do I like everything Syllo is doing? No. But I like him more than the other candidates, particularly Hapa, who is yet another from the gang of people who seem to be doing a great job of calling each other town for no reason I can see (Hapa, GK, Clarity, Keirathi, iamperfection).

Yes, the votecount is stacked now. It hasn't been for the full day though. Sandro was winning for the first part of the day, then it was tied for a long time, and syllo just started pulling ahead in the last ~12 hours or so.

why would Marv choose a candidate and not push him? marv was like the first dude on Syllo, counter wagon allowed not all scum to be on one wagon and Syllo seemed like he was taking Sand along for the quest. Either one is a success for mafia.
Not at all saying this is how that went down but there are good reasons fro marv to do this.

maybe? if the mission turns up failed then I will probably think syllogism is mafia, because a player of his quality should be able to pick out 3 town reads.
