Right? I guess we can run all the way up to the deadline before lynching, but if that's a bad time for folks then we can sort of shift around the time we're trying to get majority votes in.

The deadline should be SOMEWHAT irrelevant, hopefully. Each day is 72 hours long, and the day ends when a majority is reached. The deadline should only matter to cause a no-lynch if you guys go too long in a day without lynching someone. Hopefully Instant Majority Lynch will be more accommodating for most people's schedules. Make sure to check the activity requirements and voting rules since this game is not an Extended Majority Lynch game. Adam4167 will be sitting this game out.

![]() Day 1 Months and seasons have passed since the last cheesing incident. Though the cheeser was never found, things eventually settled down. gomtv is still in business, at least for now, though the advent of cheese has meant that League of Legends is gradually taking over the esports scene. It's scary and there's not much that Sc2 fans can do to stop it. Some progamers and sponsors have already fled Sc2 to join LoL, and who could blame them? Love for the game, though keeps things going. Mr. Chae is sweating. After that last budget meeting, it's clear: unless viewer numbers go up, way up, this is the last GSL. It has to be good, free of cheese, and well-liked, or Sc2 esports is dead and with it his dreams. As he jogs down the GOM Studio hallway, he slips on an oily slick on the ground, and bangs his head against the wall, then the floor, passing out. Tasteless: Is he going to be okay? That fall looked pretty bad... I don't know what to do without him. We needed him to be here for this, and now I don't know what to do. It takes a moment for the other english-language caster to arrive, his arms pumping as he wheels his chair up to the scene. Tasteless: I've never seen anything like it, and I'm worried. Very worried. Artosis: I have. Mr. Chae has slipped and fell on a slick of greasy cheese oil! Foolishness as Jinro the semifinalist has been cheesed! Qatol as IdrA the Foreigner Hope has been out-expanded! League of Legends looms ominously! Welcome to Day 1! This Day ends in ~72 hours at Friday, Sep 28 9:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) aka 21:00 GMT (+00:00).

This is the first game I've played with instant majority lynch. It seems like it can cut off day time and bring nights faster, which presumably would help scum. What are people's opinions on establishing a second nonbinding vote system and agreeing not to vote for real until like 24 hours or more into a day? Also lets random lynch day 1!

Remember folks, this game has a 72-hour day cycle and follows instant-majority lynch. Specifics: 1) The second a player secures the clear majority of votes, he/she is lynched. 2) No posts may be made between the "hammer" vote and the night-post. There is a "twilight" period of no-posting until a host/co-host makes the Night Post. 3) If town does not lynch a player by the 72-hour deadline, a no-lynch occurs. Lastly, I will be providing votecounts as much as possible to keep things clean. Please note that if the "hammer" vote drops when I'm asleep, be prepared to not post for a couple of hours (I'm on EST time for the record).

On one hand you would like to be careful with the voting because of the instant majority, on the other you would like a random lynch. So why would you like a random lynch d1?
