Artosis, back from his physical therapy and feeling limber again, is brought up to speed on how to fight cheese using macro and build orders. Ret takes a moment to rest after the long day, and Nick begins to outline the group's next move. As the GSL Open stream goes live and kellymilkies and engine gear up to cast the Round of 3, the crowds flock to the studio floor and the halls are empty. "The cheesers are going to be on the defensive after losing one of their own," Nick says, "but we're not out of the woods yet. You'll note that in the tournament proper, we're down to just a few players. It'll be more and more clear that someone is lurking in this area inappropriately if we see them. We need to defeat the last of them, get out of the studio, and share the cure with the other gamers." By now Nick has finished scribing his 1st Macro Scroll for use in fighting the cheesers. Potent weapons, they are. Joseph nods. "TheBest was actually fairly easy to find, all told. Though perhaps it is we who were easy to find for him?" "If that were the case," Dan adds, "we should probably take better cover. After all, this meeting room isn't exactly hidden." The world is suddenly a symphony of cracking glass and ricocheting cheese bolts. Nick shouts and jumps on Dan, moving him out of danger's path, but the deadly curds strike Joseph squarely in the shoulder. In the doorway is a cheeser, his form and face concealed by swirls and eddies of liquified and vaporized milk product flickering around him. Dan is out cold from the fall. Nick looks around quickly. The scrolls! He has to find one! He sees the paper on the ground, and dives for it, but Joseph picks it up first. It's covered in cheese and doesn't work; Joseph is unarmed. Everyone is doomed. "I'll hold him off, you get out of here!" He says. The cheeser leaps forwards, snarling, at Joseph. The man turns to meet his fate unflinchingly. Nick doesn't need to be told twice. He scoops up the body of his friend and makes for the door-- but finds the doorway is blocked by a web of curds and dairy. Nick grimaces. "I was hoping I wouldn't have to use this." He turns and runs at the wall, and both he and Dan disappear into it, phasing through the matter as though it wasn't there. In a moment they are gone, leaving Joseph behind to uncertain fate. * * * Dan finally comes to. "What happened? where are we?" "Be quiet-- they might hear us. We're in Tasteless' Secret Hallway, but we have to move again soon. Can you move your arms?" "Yeah." "Grab on to me, I'll carry you." Ottoxlol as Liquid`Ret the progamer has given his life to save you! It is now Day 4. With 3 alive it takes 2 to lynch.
