Sorry all, I became really sick overnight. Feeling quite a bit better now, though.
I'm fine with killing Katina, VE, and mold man, in that order.
Katina normally reads the thread and she usually has more than one read. She also at the very least explains herself to townies. It's clear that she's deliberately ignoring my questions, possibly because she doesn't actually believe in her "case" on Nova (i.e she is scum)
By the time I asked Katina the first time how sure she was of Nova being scum I had started to think he was town. Now, it is day 1, and I may be completely wrong about my assessment, but the way the bandwagons have gone today suggest either that both nova and mouldy are town or that one of them is scum. Based on the nova votes just now I'm inclined to think mouldy is scum.
Of course, we'll never know the truth unless they flip. As there's not much time left in the day I think we should kill mouldy.
If anyone else agrees with me that we should kill Katina or VE, let me know and perhaps we can get a vote switch going. I'll be around till deadline.
##unvote ##vote Mouldy Jeb
PS. Anyone notice that Katina says she hates people using the noob card, but hasn't really expressed suspicion of mouldy? (at least, from what I recall)

But Nova, you've already told me everything I need to know to determine your alignment. In short,
IT'S ALREADY GUARANTEED THAT YOU'RE THE LYNCH FOR TODAY
|
@WBG
I presume my actions speak for themselves. I have voted for him, said why he was mafia, said what he was doing that was pushing a scum agenda.
I did express suspicion of Mouldy. I called him out on playing the noob card. His first post of the game felt incredibly forced as well.
|
VE how can you say he's getting lynched, there's no time left and i have 7 sparkly votes
|
Katina do you think that a newer scum would post as much as nova has?
|
Why are you avoiding talking to me Bugs? And don't say something ignorant like "I don't talk to scum"
|
For the record, Bugs is completely ignoring me when I speak to him and slinging shit at me without substantiating it. This is scummy behavior, and completely out of character for Bugs - after all, he's known as a pretty top notch scum player.
##Unvote: Nova_Terra ##Vote: Mouldy Jeb
I'm okay with this lynch, and the Nova wagon isn't going anywhere.
|
so am i actually, overall this has been a learning experience
|
Jeb are you scum or town?
If you're town, who do you find suspicious and why?
|
I'm not ignoring you VE, I just addressed your questions in my head and then forgot to post them.
I don't particularly care for team balance considerations unless the host is known to balance games like that. When you don't know, it's a fruitless avenue of discussion. So, unless you want to tell me you know how Artanis sets his games up, I don't see why we should be discussing anything regarding team balance.
Regarding Nova, I'm not confident that he's scum. Maybe I'm just second guessing myself but I don't think he's the best candidate right now.
It's possible also that both wagons today are wrong and the scum are just voting however they see fit. This may explain the "too easy" feeling.
As for why I think you're scum; let's just say that dependent on the flip, that feeling may persist or it may go away. I have no reason to reveal any of my motives or reasons right now when neither you nor katina are in any danger of being lynched. Hell, it may even be possible that I don't believe that you're both scum. I do support a mouldy lynch today, though. If he's not arsed to even defend himself I see no reason to believe he's town.

Here's my thought-process. wherebugsgo and Nova_Terra are likely scum together. wherebugsgo voted early on for N_T, but the fact of the matter is (as he just pointed out so kindly for us) that for most of the day, his vote was parked on someone he didn't really think was scum after all. For like, most of the day.
wherebugsgo has avoided any kind of confrontation with me completely, which I find odd for 2 reasons: first of all, as scum I know bugs is willing to get all up in my grill knowing I'm town. He doesn't afraid of anything. Now, here's where it gets even stranger - bugs is EVEN MORE willing to get all up in my grill as town. He doesn't respect me as a player and he's absolutely not afraid to be confrontational.
So why? Why would he be so afraid to even acknowledge a question asked of him? Here's my guess: because he doesn't want me paying him any attention because he's voting for his scumbuddy. He didn't want his scumbuddy's wagon to gain any traction, so he waited until minutes before the deadline to comment on ANYTHING.
Nova_Terra, wherebugsgo, ??????, ??????

I do respect you as a player, I just don't appreciate how hard it is to read you unless there are specific situations in which I can trap.
If you recall I was on your case last game because I didn't like how disruptive your play was. You chose to save scum that game. Yet, you still flipped town. So how is it that you are to be held accountable?
|
Hmm, seing that Mattchew won't be lynched today, and that everyone I have a scumread on is voting for Jeb, and that the Jeb wagon is going way to easy I will switch my vote to NT, for reasons previously stated.
so

I suppose your answer is to remove me from the game. I seem to recall someone else suggesting this course of action.
|
IF you're town, then having your vote on Nova all day indicates a willingness to lynch him. And you're saying "Nope, VCA" before a fucking flip? Pull the other one Bugs. You're scum. You're going to die like scum, with a rope around your neck. I hope I'm around to make it happen.
|
In fact,
##Unvote: Mouldy Jeb ##Vote: Nova_Terra
This might happen after all. Keep in mind that as soon as a little pressure was on him from anyone but wherebugsgo, Nova_Terra stopped posting like a jester. This guy is scummy scum. Let's make him hang.

/sigh ##Unvote
I didn't really intend on wasting my vote on Mattchew anyway, even as annoying as he is I almost always want to vote to hit scum not just for policy or because someone's playstyle is anti-town, and his posts have been clearer and more explicit which helps, but Mattchew please continue to make your reads explicit as it's impossible to get reads on you based on post-content or behavior and if I can't get a read I'm going to consider it a scum-read.
So at this point it looks like it's between NT and MJ, I don't love these options but MJ is an okay lynch and NT I have a semi-strong town read on so ##Vote Mouldy Jeb
On him I don't have much because there's not much to see, he lurked and now he has a decent number of posts but almost none of them say anything, he's lurky and now that there's a serious wagon on him he's seemed to have resigned himself to getting lynched with no anger, scumhunting of others, or even really attempts to convince us not to.
NT has seemed aggressive but it frankly seems more town than scum and while there's been bad logic and bad cases those are the types of arguments some people make whether they're town or scum, and usually they're louder and more open with them as town so that definitely isn't a scumtell to me, I don't know of anyone that as town makes good cases/arguments then decides to use worse ones as scum.
