Night 1 In my practice, I've seen how people have allowed their humanity to drain away. Only it happened slowly instead of all at once. They didn't seem to mind... All of us - a little bit - we harden our hearts, grow callous. Only when we have to fight to stay human do we realize how precious it is to us, how dear. This is GMarshal speaking. As captain of the ship, I have made a decision. Froggynoddy will be the first among us to be executed. If the man is innocent, may he rest in peace. Goodnight and good luck.
Tragic, really. That boy froggynoddy died quick. You could practically see his eyeballs explode out there with that light from the ship shining on him. We all reckoned if he were an alien, he might survive the vacuum. Or maybe it would just shed that human skin and show us what horrible form it had hidden underneath. There was no real doubt now. Froggynoddy wasn't no stinkin' alien. The demoralized crew sat around the lounge in silence, each one finding their own spot on the floor to stare at. That damned Captain GMarshal had already retired to his quarters and locked his door.
froggynoddy the station researcher is dead! After an intense scan of his quarters, nothing out of the ordinary was detected. It looks like the crew is off to a bad start. How unfortunate.
Your head hurts. You rub it gently while a few of the crew members begin to speak softly about froggynoddy, recalling fond memories of jokes traded in the lab together.

What was that? You hear it again whispered in your ear.
The stubborn lovers speak. M A N C J
How unfair. Things are getting weird enough and now you're hearing things. It's probably just stress. You head off to bed trying to relax but you can't help but think it may mean something. If only you could know what it meant. It's too hard to think when you're afraid. You can't sleep so you sit on your bed for a while. The others probably can't sleep either. Who knows what might happen tonight...
You have 24 hours to send in night actions.

We spent the first 36 hours talking about useless crap, and only in the past 12 have people started pointing fingers. Again, I think the town sucks at hitting scum day 1, but its extremely valuable to look back at who died and see who pointed fingers/defended and when and why. I guess its good we have a bit of discussion now, but 48 hours of it would be better. My one PM so far: + Show Spoiler +From: talismania [ 1193 posts | Profile | Buddy | Report ] Subject: Any reads so far? Date: 4/14/12 22:45 Hi was just wondering what reads or suspicions you might have so far
Have you been chatting or pming with anyone? I guess people don't want my opinion. OK. 0. A lot of people have stated they have pro-town reads on Sandroba. I doubt scum would be dumb enough to mass support him like that. The question is, how intelligent do I think they town is in these reads of Sandroba as a townie. I KNOW the town sucks at finding scum, but that doesnt mean that doesnt correlated 1:1 to bad town reads. Meh, I dont want a wall of text, so Ill just say: TLDR, yall have played with him, I dont have much faith, but I hope the entire town isnt retarded with their read. All the eggs are in your basket Sandroba. ##Vote: Sandroba If you dont feel like sandroba is best choice for capn dont fucking vote him just cause everyone else is. thats like the worst thing you can do for town. Vote gmarsh or me or anyone else but "the person everyone else is"
Try and read a bit better. I stated my reason quiet clearly why I think he is the best candidate. Let me break it down as I would for a child, though with less effort, since teaching children actually takes effort: 1- The chances that the multiple people that have a town read on Sandroba are correct V. the chances that he is scum and all those people are wrong. 2- The benefit of having someone with consolidated information and being captain v. two people each with one of those things.
Now if you'd excuse me, I just read Im either asian or don't get a f*** in the lol game im about to play for not paying attention after picking, I wonder if I effed up summoners.

ebowp: doesnt matter any more, and for those curious- ignite/ghost on maokai jungle... opps.

Why was the guy who voted for captain git lynched by captain? Now I just need to fall asleep.
|
seriously...? froggy out of all people?
|
And this is why I wanted the lynch to be decided by the people.
At least we would have reads from everyone.
|
Anyone got logs with froggy? Post 'em if you can.

Clues in night PMs will never EVER point toward the alignment of a player. While you may be able to glean some information from them they are not in any way indicative of a players alignment. Do not get trapped into thinking a player is confirmed town for giving you something or confirmed scum because of a flavor post. It is 0% indicative.

VisceraEyes has replaced Senjai who has been ejected from the game for failure to vote.

Also, I have no idea what this is supposed to mean...

Something that lot of the vets seem to be ignoring is the possibility of newbies just play suboptimally, and so they just call everything that is bad scummy. MrZentor legitimately made it seem like he wanted the mayoral positions in these posts. While I don't think his platform is good at all (the whole democratic jazz), I highly doubt that a scum team would allow MrZentor to run like this. Running for mayor = tons of scrutiny on you, and you have to be able to deal with the pressure or you will be pwnt like BM in TL L. While his mayoral campagin was bad, he wasn't all like "oh i want to run sort of but kind of" in a half assed way - he actually believes that his policies are da best, which signals that he doesn't give a fck what people think about him, which doesn't ring scummy to me. Unless they are experienced, scum are usually more scared. MrZentor feels to me like the usual narrow minded strongly opinionated town MrZ. I have failed to see anyone bring up a legitimate reason why MrZentor is scummy, and not merely just bad. The case on him can be summed up as "I didn't like his campgain" and "he's being disruptive", where I fail to see how he has been disruptive. Paragon of townieness? naw. But he's been posting opinions on a few people, which laughably enough is miles more than other players in this game. I don't understand your paragraph.
The second paragraph is super wrong. Just wrong is insufficient to describe it.
Scummy behavior from MrZentor. He's amongst the group of people I appropriately named Lets-Lynch-Ace-Trolls. From the beginning he starts tunneling Ace. If Ace actually gets lynched and flip town he can try to justify it by meaning that his been on ace for a long time despite actually having posted 0 in the terms of case or reasoning.
Then the next stage. Assuming he actually is a townie. So he clearly wants Ace dead. Does he try further to find a captain-candidate who wants to lynch ace. No, instead he runs himself. But not to lynch Ace. Now he wants a public vote on whom to lynch.
He is inconsistantly all over the place putting no effort into anything. His so called opinions are short meaningless shoutouts this guy is scum... this guy is not scum. Chaoser is scum, 15 minutes later. Chaoser is innocent. What?
Interaction with Node. Who didn't even need any defense because he wasn't even accused. That's just weird at best. It's not beneficial for townies to speak up in another players defense unless they are indanger of beeing killed. Scum however do that to gain that townies favor so to speak. If someone supports you or assists you, you like them better. Then he threw away his captain vote on Node.

Oh little risk, you need some humor in your dull, dull life.
I was joking about lynching Ace; I played around with the idea om the beginning few hours.
I would never let anybody actually lynch Ace; in fact if you had done your research correctly, you would have seen that I voted for him.
Chaoser was a person I randomly picked. I was bored and wanted some discussion!
Node was genuinely trying to be helpful, and people were mocking him for that. I'd be angry for if I didn't speak up.
You're really behind, Risk. My vote on Node was just because Sandroba and GM weren't suitable, and Ace hadn't come into the picture.
|
Okey, so you didn't throw it away on node. You threw it away on Ace. Big difference. Don't even try to tell me you believed Ace had a shot of beeing elected.
Here is a thought for you. Quit trying to generate discussion and discuss. There is plenty if you look for it.

lol, i love how he excuses all his bad moves as "trying to start discussion". Word?

The fact that you say you want to lynch ace and then votes for him is just shit. The more inconsistent you are the scummier you are. Trying to justify your behavior with your shitty excuses is pathetic.

Risk, two best guesses for scum. Gogogo

Ok, hold on.. I'm confused by what Dr. said..
So Froggy is definitely town.. but the clue ( The stubborn lovers speak. M A N C J) doesn't indicate alignment?
I'm watching NASL, but I'll try to goof around with the clue a bit to see if I make any progress~

I am talking exclusively about clues that exist in PMs you get from me. The message in the day post is a different animal entirely and you will be given no guidance or advice on figuring it out.

1.The fact that you can't tell obvious humor and serious voting apart shows how idiotic you are for thinking I'm inconsistent.
2.I love you RISKKKKKKKKKK
Which do you think is serious and which humorous? Or do you think this post is an example of me being "inconsistent"?
