Rules:
Cheating:
Cheating includes (but is not limited to):
1. Posting after death. No GG, nothing.
2. Intentionally ruining the game.
3. Logging on to someone else's account to get their role or looking over someone's shoulder to get their role.
4. Comparing role PM times to determine roles.
5. Posting screenshots of your inbox.
6. Posting or sharing any PM you receive from a host.
7. Getting yourself modkilled on purpose for a strategic reason.
8. Signing up more than once using smurf accounts or sharing an account with another player.
9. Betting items outside of the game in exchange for in-game benefits.
10. Purposefully searching for the quicktopic/IRC channel/private forum of another faction. If you do this I will not allow you in any game I host again. Play the game as it is meant to be played.
10. Do not bother quoting your role PM exactly because even if someone has the same role as you it has probably been described to them with different wording. Deal with it.
11. Do not quote or lead others into quoting role PMs. This is a form of entrapment I consider to be cheating.
Additional Rules:
1. Use your best judgment when attacking another player. If you are too hurtful, you will be warned. By no means do you have to be civil in this game.
2. Do not complain about flaming, cheating, or any other personal issue with the game in the thread. If you have an issue notify a host and it will be dealt with privately.
3. Please do not post irrelevant images or media such as memes or youtube videos in the thread.
4. Ask questions about the setup to a host via PM. Do not post questions about the setup or the game in the thread. If it is an answer you are allowed to share you will be notified of that. If you are not notified please assume you can not share it with the thread.
5. There are no activity requirements. You must vote once per day or you will be modkilled.
6. Do not edit posts or you will be modkilled. If you are new you will be given one warning unless it is clear you edited intentionally.
7. Racist/homophobic/sexist content and anything in that category of posting will not be tolerated or treated with a slap on the wrist. I will immediately eject you from the game if you act inappropriately in that regard.
8. If you have a problem with how someone is posting, talk to the host, co-host, Flamewheel, or Mig before using your report button. Please do not use your report button for anything other than highly inappropriate posts which you feel are not being dealt with adequately.
9. Pay attention. Do not join this game if you intend to put in the bare minimum of effort.
10. Do not sign up as a replacement or observer until signups are completely filled.
Setup Information:
The setup is closed.
You can PM anybody.
If clues ever enter the game they will be explained in detail. Do not assume clues exist in a post unless you are told otherwise.
This game does not follow the TL Mafia banlist. Players who are known for cheating or ragequitting, however, will not be allowed to play in this game. If you are modkilled, I will not request that you are banned unless it is for cheating or ragequitting.
The game has a 48hr Day/24hr Night cycle. The voting deadline is the end of the day at 01:00 GMT (+00:00).
Mod note
Space Station Mafia is a themed game that derives most of its unusual nature from the heavy amount of flavor present in the game. While the mechanics are not all typical, do not worry too much about the setup itself and press on. Good luck to everyone involved. Enjoy the game.
Voting rules:
1. Voting is done (in a separate thread, located here). Please keep votes there, and only vote there. Do not PM me your vote.
2. I don't care how you format your votes as long as it's easy to understand.
