I'm pretty sure one of the best scum players on this forum wouldn't fall to basic scumtells that prplhz pointed out. one of prpl's points was that "maybe BC doesn't enjoy playing scum," which is just ludicrous, given his reputation. What's bothering me more is not that prpl made the case, since prpl probably doesn't know BC's play that well, but the fact that Palmar said he agreed with everything he said. That's weird. IMO from reputation and what I know from reading past games BC's town play is not nearly as good as his scum play (no offense, BC) I'll be posting my thoughts closer to deadline. But I see what you're saying. It also makes sense considering that the longer the game goes, the harder it is for scum to hide. Be that as it may, I'm looking OFF the wagon, so I'll tell you what I find. | ||

I took some info from the palmar/L dispute and wrote things in my diary. Foolishness has a nice blank page, which is always bad. Are you guys just gonna hide behind questions this whole game? This stuff would be the easiest garbage to hide behind, being the asker and the answerer. I will answer anything, but don't make it your "thing", I don't think it's as useful as you think it is. Chezinu, Phase Two has commenced. LSB was more of a best case scenario, so we will continue as planned. I have some individuals that I wrote in blood and others I wrote little hearts next to. I will reserve it to initiate Phase Three, but I don't feel fully prepared. Also, you mentioned GGQ and voted samuel. I would like to see a continued effort on both these fronts if you found either to be fruitful. Over and out. | ||

Here's my problem with that though: BC had literally done NOTHING himself. Like, yeah, okay, BC lurks. He's like to do it regardless of his alignment (see: vet meta)...but his play had been nothing to write home about either. The difference is that Palmar actually had a post in-thread to reference regarding this particular subject to call him out over. All it serves to do is make Palmar look suspicious, because he didn't point out any of Palmar's posts to back up his point, and he didn't vote for Palmar. I agree with one thing though - hostility isn't indicative of alignment alone. What's indicative of alignment is the context surrounding the hostility. There's nothing in the context of BC's cursing or use of the term 'asshatery' that indicates scum OR town to me. | ||
