As the show's new executive has yet to receive pertinent information from the old executive after he was snatched up by the deep-pocketed people over at American Idol, he now needs to acquire gimmicky filler footage to get the audience interested again before he begins to reverse engineer the competition in order to start the second part of the season.
He thus introduces, the Funny Video Challenge! The challenge is simple, find a funny video on youtube and post it here. Each person only gets one submission, so don't submit until you've found the one. To make it interesting and a little difficult, I'm adding a rule that the video must have fewer than 50,000 views at the time you submit it, so just don't go picking viral greats. Also, try to keep the length of the video reasonable, don't post a link to some comedian's hour long hbo special.
You have a bunch of hours from the time of this post to submit. (Ends at 10:00 korean time on the 23rd (use the tl calendar at the top right))
For their assistance in reviving interest in the show the new executive will send the winner a TeamLiquid Mafia Carepackage, which comes with 1 day's worth of food, a bottle of medicine, and a pair of nifty shades, which have no function inside the game, but are guaranteed to be at least 3 times as nifty as any pair of shades you've ever owned before.
I will assemble a panel of impartial judges to judge the competition.
Also I'm going to be pm'ing everyone left in the game just to make sure they know the game is back on, please respond to that pm so I know who I still need to track down.
Zombie GMarshal reporting for duty, apparently the producers decided that removing me from the island wold be bad for production values. I wish they had notified me of this before I committed suicide out of despair. Anyway, I'll see what I can do about finding a funny video
Oh and just to address the zombie issue up-front, this challenge is not a part of the game itself, so I see no reason to not allow players to play in it based on what happened in the last challenge since Darm still hasn't given me any information so I don't know what happened with that. Rest assured that the results of the last challenge will be taken into account when the game officially restarts at the end of this mini challenge.
I'm afraid I dont have time to compete in this minichallenge, but I want to post to say that I'm still interested in playing out this game. Tucanos gogo.
I get back from work in something like 16 hours, at that point I am mod-killing anyone who has not responded to my pm either by pming me, posting a vid, or just posting in the thread to let he know they are still here like GGQ did above, and then we will move forward with the game from there. Because of Darm's absence I'm not going to push for punishments or bans, I'd just like to get this game finished and see if we can't enjoy ourselves a bit more till it is over.
