I always warn people ahead of time when they are going to be up for hosting, that way they have time to finalize their setups and what not.
Hosts should never put up their game unless I tell them to, and I'm going to find some way to punish people who do it in the future. When hosts put in up when they are next on the queue then we have a facepalm situation. What happens is people sign up for the game thinking it's going to start immediately. Then the game that is actually supposed to start next and is already posted loses players. By the time the game is about to start people have to /out because they didn't realize the game wasn't starting immediately.
I like to minimize the time when a game is posted to when it starts for these reasons. Hence we put up the next game as soon as the previous one starts, and I avoid having two games up for signups at the same time (with exception of newbie games).
DrH I can help you with your setup. Incog also has lots of time on his hands so you can PM him as well.

They obviously don't start before the previous game ends but they must be ready to go. There is a lot of focus on players being active in their games but hosts should be held to a similar standard. If you say your game will be ready after a certain game finishes, it should be. Easy way to ensure this is that if an OP is not ready in time then that game should be skipped. Otherwise the whole queue gets held up.
Is this reasonable? I think the fact things like LYLO can be unpredictable makes it slightly harder than it sounds. Town could at any point lynch all the scum in a row and maximize game length, or it could be over nearly immediately. That said, I find it reasonable enough. We might want to set a standard amount of time into the game, eg. 3 days. This would avoid players accidentally finding out the game is nearly over. (ex. responsibility mafia had all vigs if memory serves, game could practically end at any point in time) Clearly there are circumstances where it isn't feasible but I don't see the harm in having one game taking sign ups whilst the other is running. The biggest issue is when a game gets placed in the queue and then the host is AFK when the previous game finishes. I would suggest that since it takes a while for your game to reach the front of the queue, there really is no excuse for not being ready when it arrives. Sure it could be full and you aren't available at that point to actually start but having no signups or anything? Games should be posted days before they start, not weeks, otherwise we get people who sign up ready to start, then get bored and join another game. Games need their hype, old signups are more likely to result in inactives, old threads get depopulated and forgotten.

Wiggles is posting his game. Zona's game is off the queue due to being mia. Incognito will follow after Wiggles. I'm on vacation until Monday.

Sticky for S&G is up, if you want your upcoming game featured, I need a blurb about it from you.
If you have a game taking signups, I'd also appreciate a blurb.
