I imagine it's quite hard to get along as a non native speaker. I don't know how it's for you but if I remember those eve sessions on Vent I mostly remember trying to understand what people are actually saying. It's not that it's hard itself but after all you're used to listening to people with very minor accent from school, films or whatever (or at least used to people with pleasant accents, like BBC-english^^) and at least in my case I had to concentrate to actually understand what Kwark was yelling at me from time to time. Not to begin with the fact that when everyone started screaming at each other it got completly impossible to undertand what someone's saying under the noise of 2 or 3 other poeple argueing about something. Obviously it was not a problem for all those people from the us or uk but other than that a lot of people actually said they had no idea what was going on :p Just my 2 cents. Don't know what it's like for you though. | ||
