Throw in Jester Jester/Jester Jester? One of the random roles I once thought of while thinking of bastard mod games (...)
Jester Jester can during the day send a PM to mod that he wants to use his ability. His ability is only usable twice in the game. When Jester (=VI) is lynched on the day the ability was activated, and if Jester Jester was on the bandwagon, the day will end as usual but will result in Jester dying without activating his victory condition. It's a very rough idea but JJ should prevent Jester from acting like axis of evil until lategame where there are plenty of suspects to go around and where JJ could have possibly spent all of his available ability. The inclusion of the role also should considerably reduce the threat of Jester.
This is of course the rough version and intended for small setup, so if people actually want to use this idea the # of ability availability should either be increased from 2 to 3 or put two of these roles in.

With Village Idiot ending the game if he gets lynched, it is very much in the best interests of the mafia to try and NK him. Which means anyone who is too obviously acting it up, will likely get hit by the mafia. I like the idea of VI being able to end the game.

To be honest you've improved such that I think you being scummy actually warrants attention instead of it being null-tell. So if you are indeed behaving crazily you'll probably just be promptly investigated night 1 and ignored throughout.

I could agree somewhat, though I am actually quite terrible at scum, now, due to my town game improving a little. My scum game is still primarily one-liner-esque, whereas my blue/green game has ascended to being more content-oriented.

Just as an observation, Bulletproof seems like it could break the game and I can't really see poison being used.
Edit: as an idea, you can make it so the roleblocker + a hit can kill the bulletproof guy, bulletproof is basically a more powerful vet (against the mafia anyway)

Roleblock does break Bulletproof power, and Poison goes around it. in addition, any town-aligned KP (Vigi, Mad Hatter, Lynch) can kill Bulletproof - he is just immune to normal mafia KP.
