Is the ban for leaving the game without a good reason and without warning you beforehand, so basically inactivity, or for posting in the thread that he was replacing out? These things are usually discussed after the game. I´m not arguing against a ban though, replacing out without warning is a problem, and a 1-game ban sounds about right.

He had no good reason (didn't want to play anymore) and didn't try to search for his own replacement either.

rgTheSchworz - modkilled for inactivity Abenson - inactivity, pretty obviously posting just to get around the activity requirements Warning for [UoN]Sentinel for inactivity and lackluster response after being warned. Although there are special rules against posting to just get around the activity requirements, its a borderline case so I'll leave it up to GM/fw's discretion on whether to turn that into a ban or not.

I´m not following. Do you want Abenson to get a ban for not posting at all, or did he post the required posts but you thought it was too little? ON [UoN]nentinel, it sounds like they did the same thing, as well as ignoring a warning, but you recommend different punishments.

No, I'm not requesting bans for people who met the activity requirement. We couldn't find replacements, but that doesn't matter. Yes, the rule is subjective, but if the rules are objective there will always be people who just do the bare minimum to get away from a modkill. If we want to fight inactivity we need to use some common sense judgement rather than relying on straight up rules. The OP clearly states punishment for people who try to skit the requirements and both players were warned, so its not like this is out of the blue. Ban for Abenson as opposed to a warning for sentinel because Abenson's case is more clear cut. But if GM decides a ban for both is in order its up to him. For all the legalistic people who are addicted to rigid impersonal (bureaucratic) rules, Abenson posts here and doesn't post again 50 hours later, so that clearly violates the post every 24 hours rule. Sentinel posts here and doesn't post again for 30 hours, thus breaking the same rule. So ya, I can request bans for them based on a strict objective interpretation of the rules. But any sane person can see that its really dumb and to go through extensive lengths to check the exact timings of all the posts. I wouldn't be surprised if you can find other people who didn't post for 24 hours, but I'm not going to look because its just ridiculous. Subjective rules may feel uncomfortable for people, but that's why the system was changed and why GMarshal has the final say.

I think both should get a standard inactivity ban, plain and simple.
