It belongs here. I consider it pretty sad and a big loss for FPX. Tian is suffering from health and mental problems, forcing him to start is not the solution. Match fixing seems to be a big problem in CN, especially LDL.

Healthy Tian, Happy FPX. EDG dismantling TES puts them firmly as the favourites in my eyes. Scout was godly in that last game and Viper and Meiko have been smashing it all split.
Nah, I think FPX will take it. They have incredibly good macro, and Flandre is still a liability (he was OK today), I expect Nuguri to dumpster him big time. Lwx is good enough to not get totally outclassed by Viper, and unless Scout plays out of his god damn mind like today, I still prefer Doinb dark technologies.
But this is def one of the most unexpected and exciting matchup to ever happen in the LPL. I honestly thought EDG would crumble while RNG would grab a tight win vs JDG, and the finals would be RNG vs TES. Instead, those 2 are meeting in the loser's bracket after getting destroyed, and I could see the winner losing to the loser of FPX vs EDG.
LPL playoffs have been bangers all the way through. Really showing off the depth of talent at the top end of an already massive league (it has expanded to 17 teams for those who don't follow it closely). To think that teams with as immense talents as JDG, IG and SN aren't even in the Top 4 of the league tells you enough.
Scary to see the growth of the league. Super excited for the final as even though FPX beat RNG 3-0 earlier in the playoffs I feel that was a massive underperformance from RNG. All aboard the Xiaohu train. Choo! Choo!
Yeah, pretty much all playoff series were bangers, it's a great year to be an LPL fan.
After the first 2 games, I thought RNG would just blow over EDG, but Scout wanted to win so badly. Honestly, it's sad watching Flandre flop this season, I've watched him since his Snake days (but that was mainly because seeing Sofm annihilate entire teams by himself was hilarious) and the EDG move was his big chance. Instead he's losing to Xiaohu, who has consistently been outclassed in lane by the best LPL top laners. And if Xiaohu makes it out of lane unscathed, he just makes it so easy for RNG to win.
Curious if EDG will try to pick up another top laner. Imagine if they got someone like Zoom or Bin .
Just finished RNG vs. EDG Lower bracket. RNG is soooo much better than EDG at doing things, but soooo much worse at picking what things to do. They won 3-2, but in games 3 & 4 they didn't play to their comp at all. All I can imagine their coach saying between games is "stop doing the opposite!" They had a poke comp in game 3 where they almost never poked. Its amazingly bizarre they won the series with such single mindedness.
I can't really tell you what it is that makes RNG win games and look like a good team. They have good macro but they don't always play their comps properly, like you said. Xiaohu has great carry potential but he also gets bottled in lane by the real LPL top laners, Zoom and Nuguri aren't the only players to step all over him. Crying has very average stats for LPL midlane. These are flaws that would normally stop them from reaching the top. Top 4 was very realistic this split, but I wasn't expecting more.
Then again, the real big surprise was the FPX resurgence, Bo is going to have a tough time getting his spot back if FPX plays that well with Tian. And I did not expect TES to falter to both EDG and RNG.
