im still baffled at clozers game 1 irelia herp moment but even more at his ryze plays. the final ryze ulti is probably top 5 worst pro plays in lck ever. i wish i could hear the comms for that from t1's side. | ||

I haven't watched Brion that much but it seems as if they are a bit of a mini-DRX. Their Jungle/supp duo is defs the best part of the team. | ||

A lot of lanterns pulled people away from a Kai'sa engage, and when Guma went in solo at the first baron fight, he flayed and exhausted him almost immediately after/during the ult animation, so Guma couldn't just flash away after grabbing the kill. The difference in Thresh performance between the two series today was night and day. | ||

if t1 fails to even make playoffs this split then something needs to happen inside the org. ive said it before but for me with each passing day the culprit is clearly joe marsh. even with 2 worlds winning coaches hes managed to turn the greatest esports team in the history of esports into an extremely average team that focuses more on revenue and commercials than actual performances. thats a sad excuse for a ceo | ||

So I guess there's an argument that yeah futureproofing would involve putting some focus on the actual, uhh, games. | ||

He's a T1 part owner, he's not going anywhere I am pretty sure that somewhere in his contract is an exit clause. He is already minted for life, if he wants to he can sell his shares at a big loss and still be well off. T1 gave him part ownership because they are trying to keep him on a leash, if he leaves the org will collapse with their current performance. At the same time, not letting him play is a very good way to alienate your most iconic player and your fan base. I just don't understand what T1 coaching staff is doing right now. | ||

I just don't understand what T1 coaching staff is doing right now. yeah t1 is still the most popular although i dont think stats exist anywhere to support this. i will say though that t1's brand took a hit when the merger with comcast happened and they had to rebrand. a lot of old school skt t1 fans lost interest in the team after this and i would assume many of the current fans are faker fans rather than t1 fans. if faker retires the brand will take a huge hit, and if t1 continues to bench faker and make him a mascot instead of giving him a chance to clinch 1 more worlds (which is what faker fans want), t1 will continue to lose value. commercially it just doesnt make sense to me, and the decision making behind this is definitely not the coaches. this is upper management. i dont think its possible that coaches of zefa and kim's caliber walk into t1 and completely forget how to manage a team. the players are obviously underperforming due to external factors and i would argue the emphasis on rotation and academy players is influenced by pressure of having to justify having that many players on the payroll to begin with. | ||

I still hold out hope that come play offs they'll have one solid 5 MAYBE 6 man roster and run for the rest of the year. But they have to make play offs first. Looking at their schedule there's a good chance they get 1 maybe 2 more wins out of KT, Gen G, DRX, Afreeca, and Hanwa if shit doesn't come together. Afreeca and KT could still reasonable pass them and kick them out of playoffs. And that's embarrassing | ||
