You are thinking too modestly: I'm wishing that Faker gets bought out by some LPL team and sees some playtime. He's been rotting away in this failed T1 organization for quite some time now, despite never really having slumped. Even if he's not the best in the world, he is still world class and I want to see him on a team befitting of his legacy. Instead, T1 benches him for this B team.

agreed this T1 is a disgrace to the SKT of old.
I have always supported T1 and Faker, I will still watch their games even if they don't play Faker. I still believe because it is T1 but honestly. I hope they continue to play the roster today and get curbstomped.
Maybe one day the coaching staff will figure it out.

well mr shareholder isnt gonna go china lol.
anyways i can understand that faker doesnt dominate the laning phase like he used to and the lack of priority is an issue, but so far clozer hasnt shown he dominates the laning phase either yet hes far worse in the mid to late game if he isnt already stomping.
no excuse for the next round now i think

t1 much more solid today. game 1 was pretty much perfect.
zeus showed his class on his debut pretty well and faker seems way more solid than clozer to me

Having Faker instead of Clozer is like night and day for this team imo. Gumi vs Teddy is still debatable, and Zeus needs more games, but the Zeus/Ellim/Faker/Gumi/Keria lineup seems pretty solid.

deokdam is really good, I should watch more NS games.

So many teams in LCK have really good cores and then relatively new players who need time to grow. If a few of those players step up, the top half of LCK will get interesting. RN it's a bunch of incomplete teams competing against eachother.

DWG and GenG have almost the same lineup as last year, but there are a lot of new faces, agreed. I can see T1 beating AF and KT if their new roster gels, but imo the top 4 are tough nuts to crack, Faker isn't going to outcarry the likes of Chovy/ShowMaker and T1 kind of relies on him.

My current LCK ranking:

1. DK: Great synergy, great players. Khan was not a downgrade, so this team is still world class.
2. HLE: When they play their best they look better than DK, like today game 1. Deft seems to be in better form than end of last year (has his health improved?) Chovy is imo best midlaner in LCK, and the rookies are having a better start than the DRX rookies last year.
3. GenG: What's there to say, it's GenG and they haven't really changed much since last year. They are good, but I don't see them improving drastically.
4. DRX, KT and maaaaaybe T1: Middle of the pack teams with some flaws.
5. AF: T1 probably belongs on this bottom-middle tier as well, flaws are sometimes glaring here.
6. NS: They are not a bottom team because Deokdam is surprisingly good, he's giving me JAG Teddy vibes.
7. BRO and LSB: I don't really watch these teams, but NS has beaten both so I guess there is a difference?

I'd definitely rate DRX higher than T1 at this moment. For the rest I would probably agree completely.

BRO seem really out of sync. I've seen multiple failed engages, where someone goes in from a flank while the rest of the team is bravely running away. Still, you can see what they're trying to achieve at times.

DK vs Hanwha was a banger of a series if anyone missed it. One of the best of the split for sure.

Yeah, I enjoyed it a lot. But the pattern was similar to every 2-1 DK series this split: opponent manages to beat DK convincingly in game 1, then they wake up and play seriously. They are so creative too, it's like they want to compete with G2 on disrespecting their regions.

another roster change for t1
oner clozer teddy
i think its safe to assume t1 has decided to use this split as testing for the next split. you cant expect to get good results when you change your players so often

Well, they need to find a jungler and fast. Ellim gets styled on every other game and unlike Dread (another jungler who has a habit of solo-losing his team the game), doesn't have the 1 in 3 games where he 1v9s the game either.

Speaking of Dread, that Afreeca vs DRX game was also a good one. Afreeca taking away Pyosik's Kindred in a giga-brain draft that the T1 coaching staff could only dream of. Pyosik and Kingen are a treat to watch. Probably the second-best top side after Khan/Canyon.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Oner again vs RedForce next week, but I would wait until their Damwon roster to really make a judgement. Unless that's what's happening right now, getting Oner prepared for stage vs Sandbox/RedForce so he's less nervous vs Damwon

yeah clozer isnt ready to be starting over faker. hes been the weakest link over the last few rounds but today really highlighted his soloq mentality for me.
