I think after you change around everyone around besides aphro/double and your team is still the same deep down you know who's the cause. Everyone saying it was link, nien, not having enough friendship, nope. It's those two at the core always.

Well CLG barely won against FW because of a throw from FW ADC. FW changed this ADC for the rematch so it was kind of expected that it would not be easy :o. Not really a coach problem from CLG.

CLG wouldnt be even in Worlds if it was the same old CLG. You are just trolling now.

Also, I'm going to argue that TSM/C9 got much worse than the amount that CLG got better from spring to summer.

Btw I dont think he is responsible for p/b anyway.

3 teams...4 groups...so many confusions

As an aside, I really dislike the zoom out during team fights. Makes the teamfight pace look really slow.
I also hope phreak is casting tomorrow. The shoutcasting today was pretty underwhelming given the weight of the games.

They're definitely mentally different. Getting pobelter was not the difference between what CLG usually does and what they did this split.

I look forward to LGD losing in the exact same way as before
It might actually help since Acorn has been int feeding so far this tournament.

Can't get any worse. Win win situation for flame actually. LGD go 0-6 LGD is just the same, blame coaching, blame the same people. LGD win a few games and all of a sudden "Flame should have been a starter from the beginning! I don't know what the coaches were thinking! How can you have flame and not use him?"

So what's the main reasons for CLG failing to get out of group A? Near as I can tell it seemed like it was the team as a whole tilting off after early game mistakes in each of their games, not so much an individual player failing. At worst, Xmithie was a non-factor but he certainly wasn't as bad as I thought he would be.

The only game they deserved to win in that group was against paiN, so I'm not sure it can all be summed up to tilt.

If I'm trying to be as objective as I can possibly be, each of them played a bit worse than I expected them to perform, with Poebelter and maybe Doublelift being the two who "showed up" for the whole groups stage. Zion seemed to be focused a lot more than I feel the team was expecting, and basically stopped him from being a potential carry. Xmithie (in my opinion) was never a strong jungler to begin with but he didn't seem to be weighing the team down as a whole. Aphro is probably the one I think who performed the worst of the 5, but I think that was nerves more than anything else.
If CLG can stick together as a whole or even look to get an upgrade in the jungle, there's no reason why CLG can't continue to be a threat for next season and potentially next year's Worlds.

Well, you can't just get over nerves when worlds only comes once a year. It took aphro like 6 splits to get over playoff nerves.

I dunno, tanking two turret shots at level 1 and going bork first on tristana is not exactly what i'd call showing up at worlds. (let alone being an adc dyrus and dying whenever someone looked at you or licked in tahm's case)
