Two of them cast, three on analysis desk, Kobe not even on camera probably will do 5 minute interview at the end. They have to pay them for something, so thats the reason we are not seeing much player/coach interviews on analysis desk between games. Riot is following the ESPN sports-casting model for their productions. I don't know how sports are cast in Europe usually, but have 2 play-by-play guys and a desk with 3-4 analysts to discuss the games afterward is an incredibly common production model for sports here in NA. It makes the entire cast seem 10X more professional than anything any other video game broadcast is doing. It's all about perception, really, but I appreciate the effort to increase the professionalism. Remember, it was only a few years ago that nerds across the world were crying about casters wearing a blazer over their rumpled nerd T-shirt. EU(At least Football) always has a "host" on a desk than normally 1-2 former professional players or coaches on the desk and maybe one other "production guy". They NEVER have full staff of production on the desk. Yes, they have former pros. And if I'm not mistaken, Phreak and Jatt are former pros as well. And isn't Kobe too? I realize we're still talking like, Season 1 pros, but it's still the same model. LoL hasn't been around long enough to fill up that desk with more recently retired pros. Many of which go into coaching and filling out other team infrastructure (one of the reasons NA looks so much better this year compared to years past, btw). I think Riot would do well to get a guy like Crumbz on that desk though. Xpecial would be a great addition whenever he stops playing as well.

Jatt isn't on the desk and Kobe isn't on it either. Those are the main issues. They don't have dedicated desk people even though they have so many staff members. Instead they just got a ton of production people with some of them being passable on the desk. If Kobe was there and Zirene/Phreak didn't try act like they knew what was going on it would be 100% better. That's why EU desk works so well. Sjokz just hosts and lets the pros/coaches do the talking. That's how a desk should work.

But you're right, it's a big issue that they rotate their staff through that desk to the point that sometimes all you get are 4 guys with about as much game knowledge as the average Gold 1-Plat 1 player. The problem is that Jatt and Kobe are also needed for the game cast, but they should work on ensuring at least one of them are always on the analyst desk after the game.
