I don't know how sports are cast in Europe usually, but have 2 play-by-play guys and a desk with 3-4 analysts to discuss the games afterward is an incredibly common production model for sports here in NA. It makes the entire cast seem 10X more professional than anything any other video game broadcast is doing. It's all about perception, really, but I appreciate the effort to increase the professionalism. Remember, it was only a few years ago that nerds across the world were crying about casters wearing a blazer over their rumpled nerd T-shirt. | ||

EU(At least Football) always has a "host" on a desk than normally 1-2 former professional players or coaches on the desk and maybe one other "production guy". They NEVER have full staff of production on the desk. | ||
