Training with Faker is good practice, but wouldn't be better off on another team and getting LAN experience?
SKT pays the most money in Korea. SKT has the most fans in Korea.
Easyhoon is probably making a great salary with no pressure on him to do well behind the best player in the world. He is living the dream.
Plus, odds are, if he continues to develop, and improve in scrims, practices, or any other manner, he can be shipped off to another team at some point to a starting spot, if that's what he wants. I'd say he's in a pretty good position right now.

Free VoDs!
Riotgames will be broadcasting it, not OGN
Kinda curious about what happens when an event goes live to the Live Events box. It's not like we have an event often enough to merit showing the countdown without having the closest event shown as well in most cases. Right now you see next event in 3h, and then have to go past the ad and livestreams section to the upcoming events section to see what the next event actually is.

I'm not talking about hype, but the Ohq hype started with the Xenics Storm at Winter 2013-2014. And then died down when they failed to make in out of groups in the next Champions with NJBS. I'm referencing their most recent performances, Ohq and Cain are a top tier combo in Korea. They ca get ahead and can snowball games, while Bang and Wolf are a consistent lane which is what SKT needs.
i know that, and that was part of my argument. them carrying games due to snowballing will leave a greater impression, but this produces bias. in terms of raw laning skill they are not better than bang and wolf at all. teamfighting i'll call it even, but bang has the better environment.

I don't think so, SKT S had a play style like CLG.Eu they just wanted to survive to the point of late game and win through superior team-fighting. Bang and Wolf has no reason to be hyped imo. Its a consistent lane that will go even.
monte hates how skt s doesn't take objectives and fights while given advantage. it is true bang and wolf are the best part of that team but that becomes muted when all you hear about skt s is how passive they are. the botlane is actually very capable of aggressive play and has a very high mechanical skill level.

Off the top of my head, isn't his Zed and Yasuo pretty impressive? His soloq stats on that are pretty good the last time I looked. I think it comes down to the style he is asked to play from the team and coaches. Not to mention, he didn't get very much light in the preseason.

Same. I'm so excited for this new season.
Yup, I'm super tired, but I'm gonna stay up to watch the games tonight!

While that's probably true, I think it is possible for a player to learn to expand his skillset, especially with the correct mindset and support staff. We shall see, though.

I've missed Korean play since the season ended. This season is really weird with all of the roster shifts. I miss old Samsung Blue so much. :c

Just curious if there's more things I haven't discovered. There's so many new features in comparison to the old website, is the teamliquid website also going to get revamped to this standard? The old events calendar is so crappy in comparison to this, it's so shiny.
You can get to this thread via the active threads/lol tournaments area but in addition, you can go here via clicking the event and then clicking the thread link.
I'm fully expecting SKT to shit on Najin though. Even with the ohq hype, bang/wolf are an extremely stable bottom lane and the meta appears to have shifted back into bengi's favour.
Thanks for the thread Fionn. My bet is that we'll have to wait until LCS goes back into full swing and liquid gets some screentime before we see a larger influx of newer faces.

well he'll probably play zed and yasuo like a karthus anyway.

Well TL didn't redo the calendar when we introduced it on LiquidDota. Maybe they will revamp TL eventually but they didn't last time.

Honestly, I could see a lot of people who want more civilized discussion than what /r/LeagueOfLegends normally offers wanting to migrate here instead. I'd expect a sizable chunk of people to move on over.
