I blame the way LoL champ select works. Having each person pick instead of just having a captain have the final decision leads to a lot of stupidity. I doubt Puppey would let his team pick some retarded shit, he just picks whatever he feels can win.

Not having the team's captain calling the picks in a competitive team is dumb anyway, regardless of who physically does it.

This is why it was really funny when TSM "role swapped" regi to top lane so dyrus couldn't pull stupid shit on him. It was just so Regi could control his team's pick/bans. I guess they had dissenting opinions, and dyrus chose wrongly. lolol

Don't they use communication during champ select?

There were disagreements which as first pick Dyrus could always get his viewpoint on, since he could just pick the champion and lock in.

iirc, that was when Xpecial was trying to do some decision making instead of Regi and Chaox was still on the team.

Oh was it really that long ago? They were super dysfunctional.

I still remember when regi made xpecial cry over one of the ban/pick phases after the game

... what?

Basically Fnatic fell into the most standard LPL bait, textbook style ROFL.

Since you watch at least some LPL, are there any matches/Bo2/teams so far you'd recommend as being representative of the "Chinese playstyle/meta", or whatever comes close to it? Gamepedia seems to have at least some VoDs of the first weeks so it's accessible (no commentary for most of us tho obv.).

The thing that annoys people like Yango and I a lot is that there IS NO "Chinese meta," that defines every team lol, it comes down to drafting and execution of said drafts. Some teams have comps that they are familiar with and use a lot, but it's not some overarching CHINA AGGRESSIVE PLAYSTYLE shit lol.

For example Royal has a J4 comp they like a lot, WE likes Rengar-Orianna.

In terms of individiaul plays and focal points there are some characteristics but thye're nothing super drastically different.

Watch WE vs OMG Bo2, and watch EDG vs another top 4 team.

Didn't want to imply anything like "aggressive meta" or stuff, actually I was thinking more along the lines of how EU is taking it more slow and steady than NA (and putting less emphasis on nash in general), or when you could point out that EU used Lissandra while NA didn't, and the reverse with Rumble, or being more or less objective based (then again when you look at how CLG went from neglecting drake totally to taking most of them you could argue it shows that it's not regions as a whole being more objective-based ).

Thanls for the suggestions.

It's a coin toss. And he survived barely. If that crit didn't happen it would've likely been a 1v2 trade, maybe a 1v1.

1 in 2 chance then. Still lucky since half of the times he wouldn't have gotten the crit.

So 50% isn't lucky, what is? 40%? 30%? It's not a guaranteed nor is it a majority chance occurrence, it's not reliable.

1 in 2 chance then. Still lucky since half of the times he wouldn't have gotten the crit.

you people have terrible definition of lucky.

So 50% isn't lucky, what is? 40%? 30%? It's not a guaranteed nor is it a majority chance occurrence, it's not reliable.

50% crit isn't reliable? lol. please, at least learn that they have a hidden markov chain used for crit, so it is reliable. lol.

MECHANICAL MONSTER HOLY SHIT THAT PLAY

He definitely played that very well but he got lucky too.

50% crit is not lucky.

It's a coin toss. And he survived barely. If that crit didn't happen it would've likely been a 1v2 trade, maybe a 1v1.

That's not lucky. He bought enough crit to justify the fact that he would crit regularly.

Crit chance = 20% crit chance.

He had a 1 in 5 chance of "being a god" calm down.

Someone doesn't play Yasuo, tard.
that's 40%, and he's most definitely running 5% crit runes.

therefore 50%.

Not with the way Crit works in league. The more you don't cirt the higher your crit is inflated.
