Would love to see the mvp of na try Nasus vs sb like Diamond. Not sure how you could say they'd just get 2-0'd after seeing the games so far.

Now I have a headache. How did that even happen? (the Fnatic/Gambit/SK rock-paper-scissors). Is there a general opinion on how those teams' playstyles produced those results? In Gambit's case is a matter of mental block. They basically declared themselves as unable to beat Fnatic and ever since then they try to pull off improbable shit comps to "surprise Fnatic". Comps including: Midlane Yi, Xin and top Malphite (played like 2 times by Darien since ever), midlane Galio, jungle Karma + toplane Evelynn, and the now recent Shyvana top + jungle Xin + midlane TF with 0 synergy with those 2 divers

I think the only team c9 can match up with as far as who comes out of the groups would be fnatic if they come out and maybe Ozone if they keep sucking. They will get roflstomped by omg. They won't beat SKT1. They'll lose to Gambit.

Most of this C9 speculation is meh, their performance comes down to who they are scrimming with, and how much imo

Fnatic had absolutly nothing to stop shyvana from pushing the open inhib, and the 4 others of Gambit champions are extremely good at defending towers. fnatic had a very good team to dive sure, but Gambit should have at least tryed the 1 4 split imo...

Leona 4 lyf. I'm a support main Leona player (recently demoted to Silver IV, unfortunately)

"decent" You're comparing C9 stomping TSM when they've played against TSM all split, scrim against TSM all the time, know TSM's weakness in and out..... To TSM posting average to decent at best results against international teams who had never played TSM before...... lol

They had a road to victory pretty well defined after taking that random top inhib but failed to see it and just stood around doing nothing and died. I dunno, it's hard to get to an inhib without having the outers down in the other 2 lanes. Fnatic got huge map control by taking the 3 outers, then had a huge vision presence because it was easy for them to ward. Gambit had a much steeper task with no outer turrets and it showed; they got caught, they couldn't press objectives, and it was hard to execute the splitpush plan under the circumstances.

Also lol, they always talk about their mechanics... They never get better. TSM is just well known for being stubborn and super clutch/good at LANs.

That's just because our expectations were so low that it looks like they did alright when in fact it was pretty much a stomp. OMG game they just kind of chilled out a bit too hard which made it seem like TSM had some fight. SKT were never in danger of ever not winning. I do think TSM will do better than C9 against both those teams. C9 fails way too early in early game against NA teams for me to have any confidence in them against OMG/SKT. They would fair a lot better against Group B teams I think.
