Assuming Mineski and Vulcun will lose to the other 3; If they lose both they are out, if they win both they are through, if they go 1-1 it'll most likely be a tiebreaker. For them it'd be better to beat Gambit because Gambit is more likely to lose vs Fnatic.

Since Gamania Bear replace Icefeng by Maple, their record had a big jump. In the Taiwanese qualifier final, they would either win or disband. In the qualifier, they beat TPA AHQ WAYI TPS, pretty much all the strong team in Taiwan. They are not the fans favourite. When u watch the Taiwan regional final, u can see that no audience were cheering for them. All of the audience were silent after their win. Most of their them are high school student, maple and swordart are 16. Winds is the old one, he joined the team after military service. According to their interview, they scrimed a lot with Royal and learned a lot from Royal. However, in the Chinese qualifier, the caster Joker said that Whitezz consider Gama Bear as an easy opponent. Both Gama bear and Royal get so many hates from their teams/sponsors name. Taiwanese believed that Gamania is a very bad company, and 'Royal Club' sounds extremely silly in Chinese culture.

If they don´t manage to go 4-0 from this point on, I´d rather see them go out in groups than embarassing themselves in the play offs D: edit: talking about ozone...

Having already dropped games to both Fnatic and Gambit if they lose to them both again it is pretty much impossible for them to get out of the group barring one of Gambit/Fnatic massively choking (were talking losing all the rest of their games) and that possibly still could just mean a tie. If they only win one of the games they will need to team that they beat to lose again to create a tie (I assume that is how it works, might be by whoever has the winning record vs the other team in the tie). Basically if they lose a single game tonight the ability to control their fates is no longer in their hands. If Ozone manages to 2-0 tonight and win all the rest of their games they will get one of the spots because Fnatic/Gambit have to play each other one more time. With how Ozone has looked so far not going 0-2 might be a tall task unless they have radically smoothed out their many issues. #freeHomme Also it seems Vulcun's effectively last stand for one of the slots is tonight as well. All in all some very highstakes and high profile League of Legends matches are on tonight. I am excited.

I think its interesting to see their unorthodox picks though, not because they are going to go shyv every game but because they might pull out something we havnt seen before and so i wanted to create that story there that i think is core to their team's personality. Twitch wasnt as popular in any region even on 3.09 (literally the most contested ADC in china compared to only 30% rate in NA). I think china really favored him much more than other regions. I hope to see uzi play twitch tbh in the WC, its fun to watch. Twitch was quite popular in both korea and china. It was banned out quite a bit for a short period of time in korea, but I think that was only against certain teams. This may have also been after korea caught on but then twitch got nerfed shortly after.

I think Fnatic is in the most favorable position to progress simply because they still have games versus Mineski and Gambit which are near guaranteed wins for them, so at worst I see them ending 5-3. If they mange to beat either Vulcun or Ozone tonight then I think they will progress. Vulcun is perhaps fortunate to only have one important game today versus Fnatic. I think it fair to chalk up a win versus Mineski which means at worst they will end 3-3 tonight which likely still leaves their fate in their own hands. This gives them the opportunity to prepare for the final group day and go all out knowing that victory in both games is required to progress. This knowledge could relieve some pressure from Vulcun tonight which could be advantageous. I think Gambit and Ozone are under the most pressure tonight and they will play the pivotal 2nd game between them. Gambit seems to be in a better position at first glance but their inability to beat Fnatic actually makes this game versus Ozone more important. Obviously, Ozone at 2-2 need to win this game to keep their fate in their own hands. It's still possible for them to advance if they lose to Gambit but if the rest of the results of the group fall unfavorably for them then they could be out even if they run the table hereafter. If I had to make a prediction I feel like Fnatic and Ozone will advance to the knockout stages. Gambit's inability to beat Fnatic will be their downfall because I don't think they will 2-0 Ozone. Still, this group is extremely close and very difficult to call.

Actually, it'd be even better if they put Homme in, just to show everyone that it doesn't really matter who's top and Looper instead of Homme is definitely not the reason why they're playing like shit

The strong wording of your Fnatic/Gambit predictions compelled me to look at the w/l chart of EU LCS matchups, since I hadn't really been following that scene. Now I have a headache. How did that even happen? (the Fnatic/Gambit/SK rock-paper-scissors). Is there a general opinion on how those teams' playstyles produced those results?
