Oddone may not have flashy plays, but he sure does help them win games. | ||

Now if Diamondprox suddenly became fluent at English and wanted to join TSM then sure TheOddOne might be the odd one out, but that's about as realistic as TheOddOne randomly getting replaced. | ||

People will always give him props because he's on such a famous team, but he doesnt really add anything at all to their lineup. Nk has the ability to make plays with Lee, Eve or J4 and he's proven that. I dont even remember the last time theoddone has done anything like that. | ||

Honestly I'd rather have Riot fix the issus with the "pet"-type controllable minions, including Shaco's ult, Morde's ghost, Tibbers and the Chaos Storm. They sometimes drop their current command entirely, or force you to spam a move command just to make sure they'll actually go there. For Viktor in general, when you drop your ult on several targets it'll either sit there or start following one at random, which isn't very consistent, and very frustrating when your ult hits a champion and a minion wave and starts following the minion going to attack you rather than the champion running away. You can redirect it, but it can be enough for your target to get out of the AoE and your ult won't catch up unless you're super close. Note that I don't consider it an issue to have his range hamper him so much in the late game. He's got to have weaknesses, and his big mana consumption and effective 5.5 slots are some. However, the way he works (range, insta-burst becoming poke + sustained dps as the game progress and a tanky frontline emerge on the enemy team, item timings) give him pretty clear power spikes and periods/situations where he's strong or weak. I kinda like it because it forces you to play around them when you pick him, and it's part of the champion. I'd rather have that and adapt to it, playing in a more "cerebral" way, than having faceroll dumb shit with peaking highs but no real low (Elise, Zac, etc.). Chaos storm deals 80 (+0.25) damage per second. You're not going to out-lifesteal the damage unless you're stacking BTs. The reason why the periodic damage seems so awful right now is because the aoe of the periodic damage is tiny and it moves ridiculously slow. It's just hilariously easy to kite the Viktor ult and have it deal no damage to you outside the initial burst. I do agree that he has bigger problems in his relatively high mana costs. I don't really agree that his core is really a weakness. The Death Ray augment upgrade gives him so much damage and the hex core is already really cost efficient for AP. At level 18, it gives 99 AP, which is already more than the majority of AP items in the game and it only costs 1000. The core is not a liability tbh. | ||
