Eu only took champ picks, but they play it out completely different. And certain teams still going to have their own flavors. Na is still pretty different in picks, vulcun, clg, tcg, ves, dig, rarely play full korean comps or play style. eu is pretty varied as well. Atn, nip, ld [until today], gambit, also don't go full korean either. What I'm getting at is that picks and builds vary by a lesser degree than they used to from region to region, not that they don't vary at all.

It has less to do with copying koreans; but more so that it has to do with how 2v1's shaped the way certain champs are picked. Also; a lot of picks from NA/EU also moved to Korea. Elise jungle was something NintendudeX did WAYYY before anyone else did; fiddle support by elementz since season 2. Jungle picks have been pretty universal by all regions just due to lack of jungle variety. Picks being somewhat homogenous has more to do with poor balancing than anything else. The playstyle of each team is still pretty characteristic though.

Compared to other positions, I feel like the number of viable champions for the jungling role is kind of limited, especially for how influencial the position can be. For a team that is heavily reliant on their jungler, like Gambit Gaming, I feel like target banning the jungler can be a successful strategy. Diamondprox's influence over early the game seems to drop off heavily after his favourite champions are taken away, a weakness that is commonly seen amongst Korean junglers too (the ones I'm familiar with). You let Diamond pick udyr and his overrated lee sin; and you win game. Why bother banning him out, he'll just pick something stupid and lose it for his team anyways.

It's definitely viable if it hinders the team more than them getting another positions favorite. Think junglers should have a few options that while not being as good as their favorite is still good enough to not make that trade worthwhile.

Even with jungler centric teams; almost every Korean team has a solo laner that needs to be "feared".
